So... just heard a guy on the 'news' interview saying that, 'we' need CCTV everywhere so the police can follow 'suspicious' activities Everywhere, on the streets and in business (all public) areas. Stop and frisk anytime, anywhere. There is 'no sensible reason' to keep the authorities from searching anyone, anywhere, in this time of peril.

Surely what this incident has shown is that current levels of CCTV were sufficient in order to successfully identify the bombers. I don't see how it could be leveraged in order to push a policy for more.

I do love your attempts at historical revisionism. Right, because Chechnya didn't become a hotbed of radicalism almost entirely because Russia oppressed and engaged in the wholesale murder of its people for daring to move away from identifying themselves with Russia due mostly to the fact they're not Russian. No, the Chechen resistance movement is just a cabal of international terrorists who seek to destroy the civilised world, not a wide ranging political movement dedicated to the establishment of an ethnic homeland on their own terms. Don't kid yourself. It is widely known that Russia used the chaos instilled by the vague threat of Islamist terror to further repress the Chechen people.

 

The irony of accusing anyone who disagrees with you as being indoctrinated with Western propaganda whilst all the time regurgitating the same ultranationalist, borderline xenophobic drivel that the Russian media pump out is not lost on me.

I think this actually happened last night. Of course, the Boston area seems to be on lockdown, or at least the two towns where they believe he might be at. Mass transit within the city of Boston is shut down, and there are no classes for the day at most schools.

Chechen terrorists are not Chechens. They are terrorists with tight connections to many terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda.

 

Besides, the same Chechen terrorists are fighting on the side of "rebels" in Syria, together with veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Yes it's been that it's a troll. I don't get why anyone would want to troll about this as they could get in serious trouble considering they're possible wasting police resources and thus obstructing justice.

I can understand doing it if you made it ABSOLUTELY clear it was a joke and were trying to lighten the grim mood and take some shots at the mass-murdering little gobsh*te. I have always believed that the monsters of the world can only truly be conquered when we overcome our anger and treat them with enough contempt and mockery to remove their power to frighten us.

Yh, seems really inconsiderate. If you listen to the police scanner you can get an idea of what the police/FBI are doing. I've turned it off now but last I heard, they were pursuing him into an industrial building.

If it's normal for bomb squads to be performing bomb drills at public events like the Boston Marathon then I guess it's just nothing, just something about all of this seems to indicate there was prior knowledge of it, the army men in black jackets and tan khaki's/combat boots, men up on the buildings with binoculars, especially the bomb drill itself..

 

 

It just reminded me of how the FBI got caught actually helping the man who did the 1993 WTC bombings, giving him the materials to make the bombs and whatnot all the while could've easily prevented the whole entire thing.

The FBI already knew about it, and it's proven my friend.

 

As of this very moment the FBI released a document with clear evidence proving that they have been supplying these army men - and not only that, but it also suggests that your beliefs might just be true after all.
