Superman would only ever fight Batman, if he perceived that Batman was a threat to a great many people. Batman, has never ever trusted Superman, and is willing to drop gloves with him for anything. He has a supply of kryptonite, that should say enough. Bottom line, Batman is a genius. A genius martial artist, detective, and strategist. The gadgets are just there because Batman likes to work smarter, not harder. Superman, is just a brute. The most powerful being on the planet, but he isn't a stickler for technique. He can be sloppy. Basically, if Superman fought Batman, he would win initially. But It's not like Superman would kill Batman. He wouldn't. He might beat him within an inch of his life, but he wouldn't kill him. Batman would recover, and using the knowledge he obtained from the first fight, would be able to take down Batman. This is where it gets historically debatable. Some people believe that Batman if he needed to would kill Superman if he had the chance, some people say he wouldn't. Of course using comic book rules he's not going to kill Superman. No one dies in comic books, and isn't resurrected some time down the line. (Superman and Batman have both died, and came back) So ultimately it might be a good fight, much less clear than a layman would think, but it would always end in a draw. Virginity wins. Superman could easily punch him right in the f*ckin forehead Batman would use his knowledge of him being reckless and make Flash directly attack him while it being just a hologram and take him out from behind I have to mention Nightwing 'cause he's awesome: He would use the speed/force of The Flash attacking him and smack him upside the head with one of his escrimi sticks. Superman doesn't have powers because genetic engineering/alien encounters at that level currently don't exist, and SOME if not most of Batman's criminal rape gadgets do exist or are somewhat feasible. Sooo... now Superman got all depressed and killed himself because he finally realized he's not that super anymore. Batman then goes back to his cave and gives it to lois lane. Batman winning! Superman wins EVERY TIME. he's literally invincible. bullets, bombs, nothing stops him. the only thing that weakens him (it doesn't even kill him, just weakens) is kryptonite and it's extremely rare. Batman is cool. but that's about as good as it gets. he's just a mortal man. he's not invincible at all. he just has a lot of money and some fancy tools. Superman would wipe the floor with Batman. But if not used, Batman would easily be overpowered by Superman. Superman has incredible strength, has a high agility, resistance, and flight.
