Siciliano Don Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 In trailer 2, you can see Franklin arguing with Lamar about "slangin dope and throwing up gang signs" which would lead me to believe he wants out of the criminal lifestyle. Mikeol1987 Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 I Figure its him explaining to whoever the woman is girlfriend/sister or something he's done with low level crime. he's explaining about the upcoming heists/car thefts under the direction of Michael, and she don't like it, I think he's probably trying to recruit his friend Lamar into the fold in the game too. Its probably already an idea to him so when he meets Michael thats his ticket in. Exactly.. Thank you. Once you are put on the hood( join gang) There is no "getting out" . Especially here in L.A. .... So basically expect friction between franklin and his old homies. rjmthe2nd Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 I Think His hood/gang will turn on him after a while when you start doing the heists,riding around in Ferrari's/Lambos then on to a 9F. i think lamar might kidnap his dog? and it might be one of those missions where your doing somethng, and it "Just Haoppens" while playing as Michael or Trevor frank will call and say "they took Chop! helppppppppp" lol,so they all go down and wait outside a club gang house ad go in and light those fake ass families up. You know the concept of a 'gang for life' mentality is prevalent amongst all gangs. Once your in, your expected to be in for life. This is your new family. But looking at some people who were involved in that lifestyle, they were able to get out of it. Usually people who were shot and were expected to die miraculously survived. I think Franklin was shot in a drive by and put in a coma for several months. But when he recovered that's was when he realised he needed to get out fast. DODI3OG Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 A street gang gets lower income than an Organized Crime/Maffia. Franklin may have wanted to get more money by Repossessing cars.
