significantother Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 The last delay of a GTA game due to a terrorist attack was (I think) GTA III in 2001 due to the 9/11 bombings. But if there is to be another delay it won't be another five months that's for sure. I think it would be a couple of weeks max. So I'd rather not get too optimistic about September 17th yet. GTA III was supposed to be released in September 2001 but after that it was postponed to the next month (worldwide). Also they changed the US cover.. But it's far different from the Boston bombings. The only game that had changes made to it because of a terrorist attack was GTA III, and that was to change the color of the police cars & remove the Twin Towers. Why does a terrorist attack that does not occur in the city it is based on delay a game that has nothing to do with it? How about if something did happen in L.A, why would Rockstar have any reason to delay a game because of the attack? Please use logic in these kinds of situations, same reasons during the Sandy Hook shooting, idiots like you would come onto these forums would say "oh man automatic rifles are being used, GTA is going to get banned". No, same way as GTA will not get banned for terrorist attacks, or will be delayed because of terrorist attacks. Idiots. PS. Please flame me about this topic, i can argue about this subject all day.
