JupiterSound
I remember back in 2004 going to Gamestop to pick up my San Andreas pre-order. I was in the 4th grade and I was at the very front of an extremely long line. Anyways...I remember the game released a day early for those who pre-ordered it. I can't think of any other game that did that. Granted, I rarely pre-order games but does anyone else remember SA coming out early?
Capricornus
Where did you live in 2004? Not many stores let 4th graders walk into a store a buy such a game. It releasing a day early could have just been a pre-order perk.

DODI3OG
You mean your mommy picked it up for you My mom was the one who picked up my copy of EFLC back in those days where I lived in a town at the countryside. It was shipped to my mom's office's address 'cause I'm not eligible to buy and pick it up(I was 13 yrs old that time). I'm gonna buy GTA V in a Video Game store in my Dad's city, anyway. Druffmaul
Gamestop did this a lot around that time, I remember going to pick up my MGS3 pre-order a day early. What happened was the shipment would arrive at the airport the day before the release date... and then rather than wait for UPS or FedEX or whoever to deliever to their local stores the next day, Gamestop would just send their own employees to pick them up directly from the airport. Why did they do this? No idea.
