Oh well, I guess we'll see them ridding the man of the old woman and maybe another demon is involved. As I said, never thought they could take it anywhere else. Durden Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 Insidious is probaly my favourite horrow movie; It's innovative and genuinely thrilling. My jaw dropped at the ending of the first movie... I was about to shed a tear of joy that this would be the first horror movie I've ever seen that has a positive ending, until the old lady helper became suspicious and gave the dad a very funny look... My face just started to sting at that moment from the huge sudden transition in emotions. I just hope this movie doesn't do the same thing... It was good the first time, a second time would just ruin it. It would be pretty cool if these movies became bi-annually, so I have other horror movies to watch besides the rubbish PA series. I watched it with an ex who would jump at a poorly timed burp in a dark room but she didn't flinch at all during Insidious. The story kind of veered into the ridiculous towards the end. And the Darth Maul lookin' demon? Literally all I could think about after that was Star Wars. That being said... if Rose Byrne is in the sequel I'll give it a watch. Did you realise the demon is actually all black and paints his face with lipstick to appear friendlier? Ghosts, demons and astral projection are all believed in by many people. I hated Insidious. Won't watch sequel... There's a new horror movie trailer I saw that kinda reminded me of 13 Ghosts. I'm looking forward to that. It's a bunch of ghosts or demons or whatever in some sort of asylum or something. One of the ghosts rises from a pool of blood. Any ideas what it's called? I Can't remember the name...
