I will probably be firstly, avoiding all communication with the outside world and also starting to complete missions. I have pre-ordered it online and have been told by the retailer that it would normally arrive on the day before, failing that, I am not waiting around for the postman so I will go to sleep, and then I will pop into town and purchase the game for my brother, but keep that copy and give him the copy I have pre-ordered online. For me, its a win-win situation. Anyway, once I get into the game I will tweet every now and then, but be more than likely so engulfed into the game I will forget to eat and also forget I have work the following morning. *sigh* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I like having a bit of extra time ahead of me and don't skip school. I'll be getting it Friday - September 20th. I'll basically make sure there are no interruptions. Then I'll head over to Gamestop, get the game, get some Chick-fil-a, and head home. I'll probably try the game out and once I get to the point where I'm free, I'll pause and eat, then enjoy the game. But I'm a little conflicted on it because I will probably have a job at UPS (in the process of getting that job right now) and my shift will require me to be awake at 4 AM in my time zone, at the latest. And I will have a class or two that day (Sept. 17), so it would be a very, very long day. If I do go through with it and attend the midnight launch with my friends, I will probably just sleep all day on the 16th and stay up through the night and into the day of the 17th. Once I get it, I will probably play it for five or six hours. Go to class, come home, play for a bit, and go to bed for the day. Hopefully my schedule will allow me to go to the midnight launch! Then, take off the blister, with my heart nearly out of my body because it'll be beating so freaking hard, sniffing the "new" odor of the box, the cd, like a pure fetichist or whatevs then turn on my 360, launch the f*cking game, open a can of soda, turn off phone and computer so everyone leave me alone and just... enjoy. Gazabaza21 Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 I will make sure im free for the whole week so i can get food and drink rations to last at least 5 days, i will then inform my family and friends that i might not seem very talkative in the weeks ahead as i will be spending alot of time in my room alone for reasons they would not understand. Then when i actually have possesion of the game i will play until my eyes can no longer take the pain of stayin open, i will not go to work and i probly wont be very hygenic for a week. When i finally come out of hibernation i will probly be pale from lack of natural light and il probly smell and be malnurished from livin off junk food but it will be worth it! No rush really. I'm not going to a midnight release or getting up at the crack of dawn to get it. I forgot I bought GTA 5!!!", lock the doors, close the windows, blast my TV, stock up on energy drinks, order a pizza, be reported missing as no one has heard of me for weeks. Not going to order online, I did that with GTA4 and it game a day late. I've never had to pre order a game, there's enough places to get it from in my town, so aslong as I go pretty early I will get a copy no problem. I see myself on that day as being unproductive as I'll be eager to get off work and getting to the midnight release ASAP. I Went to the GTA IV midnight release around 10pm and there was already a long line. Might go early this year. I'll probably do an all nighter and take the day off work.
