Blaherman Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 Personally I'll roll up in my grand am like a mofo lookin for some ass scoping the babes walk into Gamestop slam my receipt on the counter the girl behind the desk will gather some moistness from my excellent hair and the way I wheel my balls around in a wheelbarrow, grab the game for me close down the store and offer to come play while I say hush now child and send her off to the kitchen as my ps3 shows the ylod and I smack it like the Fonz would smack the jukebox while loading the game in the disc would break from pure awesomeness which I would see then promptly massage the disc untill it was fully healed and in that time the girl from Gamestop would have changed the oil in my car and made me a sandwich. I'll have made sure I got some green and something to keep me awake like a nice tall coffee or a big bottle of cola. I'll have made sure I've cleaned my room and done any errands I need to have had done so I can play guilt/worry-free. Scenario 2. One of my best mates, is a big fan and we might go get the game together at midnight but go back to his apartment to play together for the first time. Just f*cking around in the free-roam etc with a few beers and a spliff. Then, I'll probably get a taxi and play at home all night. @Mr. Shade: Did you not ever get excited to go camping or on holidays and some of the fun was preparing to go? Did you not ever go to a nightclub but before you went to your mates drank some beer, listened to some choons and got ready for it? The fun in GTA doesn't just start when the game turns on. It's nice to think about how you will prepare yourself so you can play longer, not be distracted and have the ultimate time playing. Go home, start playing, Red Bull in hand. I will have the day off, so I will just keep playing until my wife reminds me I have to eat. Eat. Then play more. Then, I wake up and go at it, marathon-style. I'll get dirty looks from my wife, neglect my kids for at least a week or so. It's good times. Hahaha! Made me chuckle. Can't the kids play with you? I only live a 10 mins walk from my local Game. Anyway buy a lot of snacks and drink. I do hope I have a full time job by then but if anything I be good no time interupted into the weekend. So do I brother I went to the midnight release. I was a Senior in high school at the time. I played the game for about an hour and then I HAD to go to bed. The next day after I got out of school it was gametime Yup. V's release will be a memorable one. Can't wait! Only GTA gave me that 'feeling'. No other game has done that, not even Mass Effect 3. I will play the story until about 3:30 PM, when my friend(s) will most likely have the game. I will then proceed to enter multiplayer and f*ck things up. God, I can't wait. Arrive home and whack out another line on the game case and sniff another line, put the GTA V disc in the PS3 and start up the first mission. Yeaaaa good times! Before the post arrives I will go to the shops and stock up on drinks/food. I'll set my PS3 up so it's ready to go. I'll wait. As soon as the postman slips the game through my door I will take it and just stare at it. After all the waiting I will finally have it in my hands. I will read everything on the back and remove the plastic seal. I'll get a whiff of that brand new smell. I will open it up and observe the disc artwork and proceed to remove the booklet/map. I will NOT look at the map but I will read through the booklet. I will insert the disc and let it install onto my HD. Once the game loads up I will not stop playing until I fall asleep. I will attend the midnight release, my first midnight release ever. The moment when I finally get my hands on that game, I will know the wait is truly over! I'm planning on playing it all night until the morning, and also taking off of work that day. Maybe a few hours worth of sleep, but mostly just play the sh*t out of this game. DryJohnson45 Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 f*ck i don't remember if I have school then but I'm going t beat off to some good ass porn, then see if I got money left go t the store buy that sh*t, then go home, take a piss, stare at the cover, rip the plastic off, open it slowly, take the cd out so carfeully and accidently drop it, grab yelling at my fingers, put it in the xbox 360, slowly scroll to the play game tab, look at the picture, ask myself am I ready, say no, clean my room, fix my room perfectly for this experience, grab some snacks have my room perfectly lit for video games.... dark, get very comfortable, press play, watch every little bit of intro there is, watch every cutscene before starting the game, when i start out yell "I did it! fridaynightscream Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Monday, September 16th, 2013 6:30 AM- Wake up 7:00 AM- Get Dressed 7:15 AM- Go To School 2:28 PM- Go Home 2:50 PM- Pop in GTA IV into my Xbox 360 and play it. 7:30 PM- Have Dinner, Hopefully Pizza 11:30 PM- Go To Gamestop Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 12:30 AM- Put down all my snacks into my gaming room. 12:32 AM- Put Grand Theft Auto V into my Xbox 360. 12:32 PM- Take a nap after 12 hours of gaming. 3:32 PM- Wake up and turn back on my Xbox 360. 3:33 PM- Keep playing Grand Theft Auto V. 7:00 PM- Have dinner, hopefully a Big Mac from Mcdonalds. 7:20 PM- Eat my dinner, I don't like playing video games and eating at the same time. 7:30 PM- Watch TV to take a little break from the game. 8:30 PM- Play Grand Theft Auto V for a bit. 10:30 PM- Go to bed. I'll get the camping chairs and bump music on my truck system in the parking lot, handing out red bull and soda. Once we get our copies and make it home, we are pulling an all nighter, pass out for a few hours and repeat. We will be stocked up on snacks and microwavable food. Yup. It's going to depend on if i'm going to buy the Collector Edition or not. Games are always cheaper via online stores, but for GTA V i'm willing to make an exception. But if it's gonna come down to buying the CE....if the price difference is insane, i'm simply going to order it online. But if not and i go to the night opening of the store.
