Ex Hellraiser
Everything. Except Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, One Direction, Drake, Soulja Boy, Wiz Khalifa, rap crap, pop sh*t, dubstep, basically anything that involves only vocals (likely autotuned) and/or artificial pseudo-instruments (computer). Besides that, I have a little of everything. Actually, I don't have any jazz or anything pre-1970, either.
Vega LVI
Too much. Half of it I do not even get around to listen to. But, nevertheless, I have tons of work by The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Beatles, CCR, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Yes, Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Janis Joplin, Green Day, Nirvana and countless others. Most of it is classic and alternative rock.

I only have 270 songs now because I just got the computer and need to go illegally downl... I mean purchase the songs off iTunes again. I use it mainly for music, because I really don't care for iOS games and use only Safari, Weather, and Shazam apps.

Besides that, I have a little of everything. Actually, I don't have any jazz or anything pre-1970, either. So classic rock, basically? How that constitutes "everything" is beyond me. Modern rock as well. I don't have a problem with music that sounds somewhat electronic, as long as it is actually played from real instruments. I'd rather listen to music with heavily distorted/modified guitar, than some fake guitar sh*t that was whipped up on a computer (like most pop nowadays). A good example is Device's new self titled album: Distorted instruments, but at least it is music that can be played on stage. I mainly hate pop in that it isn't a real concert performance. Any music where all the sound is coming from the members on stage with instruments, I have no problem with. However, when you have rap or pop artists playing live, you have just them on stage. Maybe a few dancers as well, but no performers. The artificial beat and background music from the song simply broadcast over the speakers, because they aren't made by an instrument. That is my main hate. They cannot be recreated by instruments in front of a crowd, therefore, it shouldn't be played off as a real live performance, because only the vocal element is live, nothing else. Ex Hellraiser
To actually answer what I listen to, rather than wide genres, my Nano is packed full of Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, As I Lay Dying, Disturbed, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Godsmack, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Guns N Roses, Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne, Papa Roach, Rise Against, Three Days Grace, and Eminem. (only rap artist I have more than one song of) EDIT: Also, iPods are another retarded overpriced Apple markup. I use a Sony Walkman NWZ-E354. Essentially the same as a Nano, but less than half the price. Music, HD video, 8GB. Edited April 22, 2013 by fatal1ty619

Clem Fandango
I have upwards of 10,000 tracks but most of it is underground hip-hop, reggae and generic American indie, which I never listen to anymore. I should cull the list seeing as how the only bands I listen to these days are The Libertines, The Smiths, The Mountain Goats, Oasis, Suede, Belle and Sebastian, Pulp, Bright Eyes, Manic Street Preachers and Death Cab for Cutie. darthYENIK
Lots of classic rock and classic metal. Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Boston, the Beatles, the Who, Hendrix, Judas priest, etc. Certain Rock and Metal from the past 30 years, White Stripes, RHCP, Rage Against the Machine, Slash, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, and various singles. Some rap and hip-hop, Dr. Dre, Wu-Tang, Jurassic 5, Beastie Boys. You know, rap that suburban white kids listened to about 10-15 years ago. I mostly stick to the classic stuff. I've got a playlist that is just Black Sabbath, Ozzy, and Dio, that is my usual "go to".

Tyler
For the most part I just try to consume every bit of whatever I'm into at the moment. One of the larger parts of my collection is probably all the hip-hip: Fugees, Kanye, Cudi, Pusha T, Nas, Tyler, Kendrick, Jay Rock, Drake, The Roots, Waka Flocka, Death Grips, Ludacris, T.I., Captain Murphy, Chief Keef, Lupe, Frank Ocean (if you could even call him hip-hop), Macklemore, Notorious B.I.G., Big L, etc. Hip-hop really is what I'm about nowadays but what got me into it was the influence from earlier genres like soul, funk and jazz. Love me some Funkadelic, Al Green, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Sly and the Family Stone, James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, John Coltrane, Buena Vista, and of course Stevie Wonder. Going deeper into jazz I got more big band stuff like Bobby Darin and Bob Crosby and all that. My other main thing is probably punk and some of the movements out of that. Mad love for Black Flag, The Cramps, Patti Smith, Fugazi, At the Drive-In and so on. I've really only scratched the surface on that for now, would love to hear some suggestions if you folks have any. Other than that I just kind of have a mish-mash ranging from electronic to alternative to just pure pop: Death in Vegas, My Bloody Valentine, Chromatics, Crystal Castles, Passion Pit, New Young Pony Club, Tegan and Sara, Nine Inch Nails, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, White Stripes, John Frusciante, Jesus and the Mary Chain, Daft Punk, Calvin Harris, Black Lab, Alice in Chains, MIA, M83, Mars Volta, Miike Snow, Now Now, Paramore, Sleigh Bells, Smashing Pumpkins, Third Eye Blind, Tom Waits, TV on the Radio, Velvet Underground, The Doors, stuff like that. Overall I guess I gravitate between soulful stuff and aggressive stuff, but there's a bit of the other in there, too. This is representative of what I'm into right now, but overall I have some couple thousands songs and artists I forget about way too often. Finn 7 five 11
All up I think I have around 4000 something songs, I forget now. - I used to be a big metal head, so I have plenty of metalcore on my ipod, and a little bit of hardcore, I am really over metal now though, In my teens it was cooler. - Then I have loads of Hip Hop, Dr Dre, Snoop, Tupac, Eminem, Biggie WU-TANG and a tonne of other 90's and 80's rappers. New stuff I have loads of Aussie hip hop (Seth Sentry, 360, Pez, Hilltop Hoods. - There is a load of underground rap on there as well, as much as I can get, I love it so much, the raw, unperfect beats and rapping is so good, I like it raw, I don't like when every lyric is perfectly sung in every single song. - There's a big clump of hit music, Only the better songs obviously, the ones that made the top 10 at least. - Phased out the classic songs mostly, I hear them all the time anyway, You kinda get sick of them. - Dubstep Dubstep Dubstep! I can't get enough of it at the moment, I love it. Blaring it in the car is the best. And that sums up my Ipod, there is some alternative and a little bit of rock and punk, but very little, my Ipod is Rap/metal/dubstep/classics/hits.
