They haven't been blindly hinting at news for months in hopes that something will come up. Their "guessing for months" has come in the form of 3 statements. I'm paraphrasing here, but this is along the lines of what was said: 1."We can't say much but in a few weeks something big is going to happen" 2."Again, we can't say much, but it looks like the thing we mentioned the other week is coming into fruition and should be with us in a couple of weeks" 3."Not allowed to talk about it, but next week something big is going to happen, we may not even be on time with our show for it" and low and behold, 3 trailers will be released next week! I also don't think the timing of the character trailers and the GTA 5 o'clock thing are related, other than Rockstar being ready to show off more of the game now. It's obvious they are being genuine and I think they have something else up their sleeve entirely. Nah, I actually don't think they were teasing the release of the trailers. This is because they've been saying something big is coming up soon for a while now, and I doubt they knew about the trailers that early.
