Josh410
I think it would be pretty cool to have plane turbulence when you are flyin a plane in GTAV. In San Andreas during a dust storm, the wind would take control of the planes wings. I am hoping for much more realistic turbulence when flying a plane. What's your opinion. RichyB
Should really be in the wishlist thread but no, I think it would be annoying. Imagine trying to shoot down another jet or a plane when you're being battered about all over the place by turbulence. Distrom
Yeah! Since we got more volumetric and realistic clouds, would be nice to experience turbulence as we fly deep inside a cloud.
richard1997jones
Buy a simulator if you want turbulence. It would be cool if there was a hurricane and the planes got thrown around and had it wings blown off though.

gta5freemode4eva
I think it would add to the game. If the weather was that bad that you couldn't fly, you would have to change tactics etc... I think it would be v cool. Only the best pilots would be in the skies during a proper storm. Or retards ofc.

Hotband
Only if you're high enough in the sky, otherwise would be too annoying.
NickStone
Looks like you got your wish, and it pretty much destroyed flying for me completely. This isn't even turbulence, it's trying to control Parkinson's with wings. Pointless. No fun. Why would a chopper get thrown violently around when it's in the city between buildings, 10 feet off the ground? Real choppers don't do that. And real turbulence doesn't do that. Not even actual flight simulators do that. I think Rockstar really screwed the pooch on this one, but still happy with the game on ground level. I'll just have to use FSX or the old San Andreas to get my flight fix.

Maglev
What NickStone said. The turbulence is annoying. And I can't do cool tricks like flying between 2 building with a 747, the turbulence would shake me into a building.
jamieleng
So they oversimplified car & bike handling & overcomplicated flying. I haven't flown a helicopter yet & every plane I've stolen has been hit by the army/police/security, so the engines were smoking on take off. Look, I'm no game developer & haven't taken computer science seriously since I tinkered with my Amiga 500 back in the late 80's. However, some of the decisions Rockstar made with this game seem like self sabotage. Maybe they spent too long on one game, tried to fix things that weren't broken & couldn't see the wood for the trees after 5 years. I'm not saying they messed everything up when it comes to game mechanics, as the shooting is beautiful & by far the best in any TPS, open world game. They nailed the look of the game, the map, the lighting, draw distance, detail, npc animations, diversity and most important of all, the switch mechanic are all top of their class. Plus many other things that prove most developers are followers, not leaders in their field. There are just some things I have no idea why they changed or left out completely.
