indo_14
how i can know about my PC Spec? Tell me, i dont know to do it Edit : my laptop is running Win 7 Edited April 18, 2013 by indo_14
Master of San Andreas
how i can know about my PC Spec? Tell me, i dont know to do it Edit : my laptop is running Win 7 Right Click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties' and your PC specs should pop up. However it won't show you your Graphic Card, So you have to just right click and select um something. I'm not sure as I am on Windows 8 I Right Click and select 'Catalyst Control Centre' and select Hardware and it will show my graphics card's information. Anyway judging by your post, Your graphic card must be an Integrated Intel chipset if it can't run things like SA-Map Editor, Also since you are on a Laptop i don't think you can change your graphics card, If you are on PC you can but you cannot do it on a Laptop. Wolf68k
http://www.piriform.com/speccy This will tell you everything about your system. However you said this is a laptop, unless you spent a bunch of money ($1500 or more) for a gaming laptop you're not going to be replacing the graphics card. Wolf68k
It's a laptop, you cannot upgrade / replace the graphics card.

Shoumaker
Regardless of what you have like Wolf said you cannot upgrade the GPU or CPU since it's a laptop. The only option you have is to buy a new laptop which will meet the requirements of running games like MEd, and SA-MP Map Editor.
indo_14
but before upgrading to Win 7, it works, i can use MEd reason Upgrading to win 7 : because my early Win XP is have too much viruses (Maybe cause the infected mods LOL)
Bad.boy!
@Wolf Well I have a HP laptop and you can actually upgrade it yourself. However it's not worth is since you'll get completely ass raped by HP over the price (about $1200 for a new Mobo+CPU+GPU combo). A new laptop/desktop would be cheaper and more powerful. @indo_14 You can try to make windows 7 faster by disabling Aero and some other stuff. Right click on computer->properties->Advanced system settings->System properties->advanced->settings (under performance). Then you must click on Custom and disable as much as you like (I advice you to keep the settings for font rendering though).
indo_14
@Bad.boy! it doesn't change anything. i see a something read "Intel Pentium inside" It could help?
Finn 7 five 11
^That is what your CPU is, that's not helping...at all.
SilverRST
OP is a bit misleading. Topic title is "what is the better graphics card driver?" but the actual question which GPU is better. @indo_14, it doesn't make any difference, The chance is very big you have an Intel GMA graphics chip. 2GB RAM was standard back in 2006-2007 and the CPU is also really. There is no better driver for your Intel GMA videochip and you can't upgrade. But you should be able to run MEd on that laptop, probably very slow but your laptop should run it. Killerdude
If you have DirectX installed(which you should if your gaming) go to: Start menu< Run <type "dxdiag" <Display And your GPU should listed somewhere on that page.

SilverRST
Mobile Intel 45 Express Chipset. Sorry to burst your bubble but there is no way to run MEd on it. The only solution is to buy a decent notebook with Nvidia or AMD videocard or better, get a PC. Intel Express Chipsets are way too outdated. ramarar
I had a laptop with the same processor and gpu. I had to re-install windows 7 on it (windows was not able to use or rather recognize the gpu and instead ran on the basic vga display drivers.) and voila the gpu started working again. Before the re installation I could not play any game on it not even counter strike. But after re install it can run gta vc,sa,nfs underground and even carbon on mid settings. So,can you run any of the above mentioned games on it? If not,I suggest you try to re install windows 7.You can also try updating the gpu drivers first.
