It would be good to hear radio updates of your chase coming live from breaking news in your car. Perhaps this could assist in evading road blocks etc

I think he means that he wants cops that are in good shape, and use some sort of strategy when trying to take you down. One thing that bugs me about the cops in IV is that they just ram you over and over again. I'd like to see something like cops trying to box you in, maybe a return of the spike strips, or cops that don't walk into a building one by one to get you. I'd like some sort of system that cops can breach into a building that you are in, or toss in a smoke grenade or something. I want the cops to feel dangerous.

I agree. In GTA IV, essentially the way police worked was: Suspect at point B, police at point A, police go to point B. It didn't matter if 15 nuclear warheads were placed at point B, the police would barrel full speed into the suspect. No strategy, or plan, no care for self destruction. The police in real life know better than to simply run into the open, because they get shot. In IV, they run into the open, because they are programmed to kill the player, not to save self. If you barreled down a sidewalk and trampled 15 people, the police would follow you and take out the 5-6 stragglers who avoided you. In real life, they would speed around the traffic on the road, pull the e- brake, and cut in front of you. In real life, they would occasionally take a different route than you, in order to possibly cut you off or redirect you.

The police needs strategy, not Jihad run up to suspect, shoot with a pistol in the open, when the suspect has an armored truck, an M4, RPG, and 30 grenades...

AI Cops on foot that your trying to hit while already should try to shoot you, in real life: Police can use this as a reason to use deadly force. When being pursued by AI, units on the ground should try to shoot your tires when at a high enough wanted level.

I hated in GTA4 when they're about to arrest you and you choose to run away they start shooting you. I think they should chase instead and look to bring you down physically and not shoot unless you pull out a weapon. Now that dogs are in maybe the dogs will chase you and bring you down. devil.gif Also, when they arrest someone in GTA4 the cop just has him at gunpoint and the character walks to the police car with his hands up and gets in on his own. Then the cops just drive around. I'd like to see the cops actually handcuff ppl and sometimes be rough when shoving them in the car. Maybe if you surrender with no problems they put you in normal but if you took them on a chase they shove you in rough maybe even punching you a few times. lol Also, once the cop arrests someone it would be a nice touch if they actually drove to the station and dropped the guy off.
