Do you feel ashamed for not using melee weapons?

On Cleaning The Hood, the Ballas & Dealers are armed with Baseball bats, so I feel ashamed if I shoot them instead of using a baseball bat; on The Da Nang Thang, Snakehead is armed with a Katana (and gives you a Katana), so I feel ashamed if I shoot him instead of using the Katana.

I actually shoot the Ballas in Cleaning the Hood instead of using the baseball bat. I feel a bit ashamed though, I should have picked up the chainsaw instead of using a M4.

But in the Da Nang Thang, I use the provided katana.

I use off the bat in Cleaning Da Hood since it's more fun.

And use the Katana in Da Nang, because most of the time I just chop his head on 1 slide.

 

I also feel ashamed for Using a Minigun to kill Big Smoke in End of The Line, and for killing Freddy before he arrives there, it just ruins the mood.

Cleaning the Hood I prefer just a simple pistol, no need for an SMG at the early stage of the game. Hate picking up the baseball bat, it's not useful for any other mission and it clutters up my weapon slot. I like to have SMG and pistol only, for quick selection.

Not at all.

The Desert Eagle is my choice. And for the ship I use Molotov cocktails so CJ doesn't have to go up to the bridge. Waste of space/time picking up the bat/katana.

Except for "Air Raid" and "High Noon" I find the Mini-Gun too clumsy and ammo hungry.

I don't use firearms in those missions, but I don't think I would feel ashamed if I did use them. However I choose not to use them.

 

Last time I did the mission Doberman I only used Brass Knuckles. It gave me the challenge I sought. I like doing things the hard way.

I usually stick with what they give me. If it's a weapon I don't like - like the baseball bat - I'll just switch to my fists.

I dont feel ashamed for using melee weapons. Because there have fun more than killing with M4

At least I'm not alone in these perceptions. I pretty much always feel ashamed when I have an unfair weapons advantage.

No, I don't feel ashamed. In fact, I use those missions as just another chance to increase my weapon skills.

 

I do use the Katana against the Snakehead though... To be more 'thematic'...
