House Party Crash

Hello guys.

 

As the title says, the mission House Party fails to start. When you go in the sphere, it shows CJ walking to the house, the mission title shows up and just stays black screen. Please tell me how to fix it because this makes me unable to progress the story further. And the most annoying part is that i have to restart my PC because San Andreas doesn't want to shut down or switch to desktop.

This is the first time it happens on my 3 playthroughs.

Do you have any mods or cracks installed? Where do you have the game from? Do you play with the original DVD in your Drive? Have you tried re-installing the game? What about removing the gta_sa.set file located in the San Andreas User Files folder? Do you happen to have used on the present save file any mods, deleting them afterwards?

add to that, did you use any cheats?

• It's the European version of the game.
• I didn't use cheats.
• I have CLEO 3 and DYOM.
• I'm not using any cracks.

This seems to only happen with cutscenes, same thing just happend to me when the dating scene (Carl and Denise in the Bar) was about to start.

I didn't remove gta_sa.set, but i want to know what's the file's use?

Should i send you the save?

Try removing the script mods and see what happens.

It's a file where all the data of your save file. That includes also the customized controls of the game. By deleting that file, you lose all your changed controls, and they'll be returned to default. By removing it, you also remove remaining data from previously installed mods, sometimes it's helpful since it fixes random bugs. Might fix yours too, but considering that you have other mods, it might not help, though it's worth a try.

 

If it won't work, try to remove all the mods you have and try again.
