Having a gif in my sig

I originally posted about this in the 'Sig Re-Enable Request Thread', but was advised by miromiro to ask in here, so that's what I'm doing.

 

I've got a gif I want to use as my sig, but it's 450 x 253. Is a mod or anybody else able to re size this to the required measurements? Can this even be done? Would be much appreciated.

I'm sure one of the GFX artists here will be able to help you out. This is a request subsection where very helpful GFX artists help out other members of the community who are not fairly strong in this field. Instead of having members PM'ing you just post the image here.

Fair enough. I'd like this as my sig:

 

 

But I have no idea how you trim the size of the file. If anyone out there is able to do this for me, you'll be top of my Christmas card list.

Well that´s 9MB. And as You know, sig limit is 80kb. You can only have very short part of it, still it needs to be shrunken or cropped and colors reduced.

I can try something if You tell which part of it would You like.

Ah, I didn't take that into account. I'm not very savvy when it comes to this stuff.

That´s what You get, not much point making animated signatures. Except some small embedded ones against a still background.

That's unfortunate. I think I'll just leave it then. Though I must give you a huge thumbs up for taking the time with your effort there Graven. If you are this helpful to a lot of other members, then it is shocking you don't have a medal.
