Eminence E.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW - GTA V By Gamelord GTA V is the 15th game in the series set in Los Santos. As we all may know there are three main protagonists we get to play as. They are Trevor, Michael and franklin. Do you remember the Los Santos city in San Andreas? Yes should be your answer, but the Los Santos in V is a expansion of the previous one. As there are three protagonists it is obivious that you cant control them at a time. You can cycle between these protagonists at anytime, anywhere! Once you did that the screen shows the overview of the city until it zooms to the selected protagonists. When you are controlling one of the three protagonists, the other two will cruise (roam) around the on their own. That also means (in my opinion) that you can find yourself in any situation once you switch from a protagonist to other! For an instance (example), you can find yourself at the bottom (bed) of the ocean and over that a shark on your tail! The whole los santos is unlocked from the begginning of the game. That suggests (in my opinion) that you do not need to complete missions in order to unlock certain islands or areas of the map unlike in the previous GTA titles where it was neccessary to progress through storyline to get certain parts of the map unlocked. So if you prefer free roaming better than the storyline, you can do that! Also according to my research it is/can be the biggest map till now. There is desert (endless maybe/limited maybe), a forest(s), a mountain(s), a town(s), etc. in the game. So it does not only contain a city but a mixture of everything known to us! The storyline of V has multiple endings. So if you are interested you can re-play the whole storyline again and find out all the possible endings! The storyline will/may give out a more detailed information about the life of the protagonists than the previous ones. There is a very huge (big) graphical difference in the game compared to the other GTA games. Also the vegetations (trees) which didnt see much improving in the previous games has been improved much more in GTA V (including underwater). As submarines are included in the game there should be a lot more to discover underwater. Scuba diving has also been included and there is a possibility of there being trenches, wreck (broken) ships, etc. beneath the ocean surface. Planes return in GTA V! We have seen some planes, jets in the trailers and screenshots and it seems the speed of the jet fighter plane is a lot more increased! There are also helicopters in V and that is obivious because we have planes. We have seen a tram in trailer #2 and it seems we can use them to cruise (roam) around the city but (in my opinion) we cannot drive them just like the train system in IV. There are trains in V probably having different routes than in San Andreas because San feirro and Las Venturas are not included, but (in my opinion) we will be able to drive them unlike in IV where we could just use them to travel through Liberty City. There are bicycles in V as we have seen them in some screenshots. And there are of course cars and bikes which we have in all the GTA series games. The handling too has been improved and it will fade the line between real-life driving and in-game life driving! And something that we never thought of. Wildlife! Rockstar confirmed that animals are included in the game for the first time! So dont get surprised if you see some of them. There will be/maybe a pet shop where you can go and get yourself a pet. Animals mainly dogs have a very important role in the game. We have seen some guard dogs pursuing (chasing) Trevor in a screenshot. That proves that you must be carefull about them. Also we have seen sharks in the screenshots and that is not a good sign if you are from the ones who loves spending time underwater. We have only seen these two animals till now, but there will be/maybe more! I hope this helps someone. This guide will be updated whenever needed and if anyone contributes to it. Anyone can contribute to this if just they PM me. The contributers name and what didd he contributed will be written here. Please leave a feedback on how did I do in my very first guide. Freezer89
A suggestion: Don't use bold font for a wall of text like this. Maybe it's just me but it's harder to read this way. Other than that pretty good summary.
