ROCABLOC2020 Posted April 16, 2013 Share Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) I'v been keeping a close eye on R* since they gave me a heart attack, by pushing back the release date for GTAV. Before i found out, i totally locked myself from GTAV news.. it was just too much for me. Now i`m better lol so i started investigating. I believe R* pushed GTAV back because of the Quattro lol .. (the PS4). There are so many things we don`t know about the business end and production of these exclusive games. I`m sure R* wants to be able to adapt to everything the future has to offer, with no surprises. They obviously got the Quattro news before us and decided to call some Payton Manning audibles due to the Super Console lol !!!! So tell me? Am i crazy, or we are in for a big surprise this fall, and i think i’m on to something. i'm new.. greet me!! And because they are incapable of keeping their original deadlines. PS: Don't do that sh*t with "follow me on some social network crap". It's a bad way to introduce yourselves on a forum. You'll have members of staff working 18 hour days to get stuff where they want it to be before release day. Now shut up about this stupid theories. R* wouldnt lie about what they're doing during the 4 months of delay. IF Rockstar are developing a PS4/720 version it will be alongside the PC version. It won't affect the PS3/360 version. They told us what they delayed it for. It's no god damn conspiracy. Rockstar would need a hell of a lot more time than that to make a GTA game for PS4. They don't even know how to make games for PS4 yet. I'm sorry to say this, but the whole PS4-theory is probably one of the dumbest theory of all delay-theories. The most likely theory is just simply that Rockstar realized they needed to polish GTA V a bit more, it's not really that odd considering the vast scale of the game. That's fine lol smh, i just want to know the opinions of the people that are doubting the information being released by R* .. i try to never believe what the media says and try to imagin the real problem. If a game is delayed!! it shouldn't only be to make sure they covered all bases, it has to be more than that. Me bringing up the Quattro lol is because of my excitement for the next gen concepts!! They keep preaching, on how much easier it is going to be making games in the future, but .. but!! you guys are right to think the way you do, and mostly in general you are all right!! I did mention it was a hunch, any other ideas? why is R* scaring us with all these clues on the first trailer, to mess it up at the end. Remember i told you!!! It's always possible to get further delayed, not likely that it will be released earlier. Me, I don't care...polishing, Ps4, ... I'm looking forward to Septmber 17th. GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require. If they've had even part of a team working on the game from the PS4 side, it would not be a problem. I do NOT think it was delayed because of PS4. Do I think a GTA V will release with the PS4...not even a bit. Eventually for sure, I mean it's just more $$ for them. You'll find some fool who forgot to close the blinds - eventually. I just harassed them and saw the game in action, it is phenomenal but the graphics were a bit rough when I saw it in December. How did I see it? I harassed their office and they eventually broke allowing me to see the first mission if I'd leave them alone forever. It's also worth noting that I got arrested before they showed me it, I think they called the cops. I still came back the following week & they "broke" thus letting me in. I have seen it, though. Deffpony Posted April 16, 2013 Share Posted April 16, 2013 It definitely wasnt delayed because of PS4. And as far as it being difficult to bring V to the PS4 it really depends. If they port it then not really. But if they make a next gen upgrade version for V then it will be a bit more time consuming. Either way, their main concern is to get the game out at all. The longer its in development the more money they are losing, not gaining. To take developers and apply them to a port would slow things down, and they cant afford that.
