Doesn't matter though because GTA has been giving me those highs every time I play them. As much as I'll be tempted to blaze through the campaign my first day of playing it, I have to find someway of slowing it down so the story has a bigger lasting effect on me. The various brain-dead responses were predictable, given that this is an Internet forum. I agree with the OP's point, but I hope that Rockstar does it better this time around. As people have said, everyone plays the game a bit differently, but your point is valid, and some people will go apesh*t trying to complete the game in the fewest number of hours. What a shame. The only reason that I have felt rushed in all games, not just GTA, is that the game structure forces you to complete achievements to unlock map areas or weapons or fun things that you want to do. I don't like this. I would rather live in the rich virtual world and take my time. I intend to make the happiness and discovery of the original game last as long as possible, interleaving occasional missions with exploration and minigames and general sandbox play, and I think / I hope that it will take me 3 to 4 months to complete the storyline. GKP Posted April 16, 2013 Author Share Posted April 16, 2013 thanks SR - brain dead is a pretty apt description. The 'rush' of a new GTA is the best that gaming can deliver at least. GTA3 was the paradigm shift and I will never forget - the shock that all that lay before me was explorable led to a 10 hour non stop session. That said, a few months later I wasn't bored but still pandering for things to do. SA had the lifespan, as I'm sure V will. The Physics of IV / V with the open world of SA is what most have wanted for ages. Motocross over such cool terrain will be fantastic. I might even post a new chart after gaming as it just to piss a few people off Last week of job Huge - moving to London in a month. Nothing to do today.
