JS1989
Michael is wearing a visible Kevlar vest, could it be possible this is something Rockstar has changed from their previous games, Now if you have armor you are actually wearing it, visibly. I think this would be sick and I hope they do this.

Whiskey
Could be an inventory item you can wear like bandannas in Red Dead Redemption.
iNero
I hope u can see them. I think it will be like that. Would make sense. And it looks badass imo
r0eladn
Only artwork.. It will be invisible like usual You have no proof. There are pros and cons for wearing it on top of clothes. I'd say at this moment too much cons.
Smallo92
I think it'll be like Parachutes in IV or Bandanna's in Red Dead, an inventory item which is worn when selected.
Waingro
I totally called this From when they posted artwork from the cover And everyone shot me down. It's good to be right.
Freezer89
Altough some cops (like from Noose) in IV wore them. And remember: Fingerless gloves on Niko.
Diesleman
Lol, I guess the fingerless gloves are sort of relevant, haha
iNero
These are NPCs. Thats a totally different thing. But when i see that pic i can see the mp5 ( proper one) the guy on the right is holding and it wasnt in the game ( only the K version) inhope its not the same with GTA5
dorcy
perhaps heavier armour is visible and less effective vests can be worn under clothes? loadout option sort of thing.
killdrivetheftvehicle
It's possible that they make it visible, since they had them in MP3 multiplayer loadouts. Previously there was no model of a wearable item of it, so armor was just used as a power-up. Now they have the model, and are even able to make it realistic, by making it protect your character only when the individual bullets actually hit the kevlar vest. RichyB
We've all heard about this and we've all dismissed it as nonsense. What happens when you get shot and your body armour is reduced? Does it disappear off your body? Does it fade away? Yeah because that would be SOOOO realistic wouldn't it?

Yeah because that would be SOOOO realistic wouldn't it? and a dissapearing parachute is realistic? there are plenty of options. one would be that u get slowed down by the vest but its not destroyable and does only reduce damage u take from bullets. so u put it one from the inventory like bandana in RDR. What they could do is give you the option to have the vest visible. For me personally, i'd rather not have all three protagonists walk around with Kevlar on 24/7. rare.steak
If they do appear visually, I'll want to see ballistic or bullet-resistant helmets as well.
Apex
Could be an inventory item you can wear like bandannas in Red Dead Redemption. This. I would also like to be able to store food in the inventory. Maybe not hamburgers but chocolate bars, snacks etc. So you can fill your health up whenever you want, like in Max Payne. iNero
but then it should be very limited. i dont want to have the feeling all the time that im safe cause i can just use a stored item to regenerate health. i had that idea too but I think it would cause in Rambo Playstyle without having to use cover at all cause u can just buy 10 medkits and use them in a mission so u never will die. i liked how there were medkits hidden in the mission. that gives u a bit of a boost to be pationed and pay attention on every corner u walk until u find a medkit. Yes and maybe only 1/4th of your health should refill for each item. I think that would be fair.
DODI3OG
Could be an inventory item you can wear like bandannas in Red Dead Redemption. Or it may appear the second you pickup the armor.

BlackNoise
After playing Max Payne 3, I would bet money we'll have actual wearable armor like the artwork shows. The fact that a protagonist is wearing it basically confirms it. F*ck fingerless gloves. R* just realized they were stupid.
J-B
Could be an inventory item you can wear like bandannas in Red Dead Redemption. That would be a great way to do it. With all the specialized gear(sky diving suit, scuba gear/wet suit, rappelling gear/suit, bandana)we've seen, I really don't see how there won't be some kind of equipment/inventory system. All of those things would seem tedious to use otherwise. If they do appear visually, I'll want to see ballistic or bullet-resistant helmets as well. Rockstar did that in Max Payne 3 so it could work V.
ugotsmoked
I want to be able to have full body armor like Jack Bauer.
Revolution-XW
The artwork setting and scene looks more like during gameplay imo, so that increases the chance of it being like the chute. I hope it's in, i'd love wearing it with a tank top, white.
