invader1978
I've said it before and I'll say it again, don't blame your bad driving on 'boat-like' physics. Driving in IV was fine, most of the fa**ots on here want GTA V to be like San Andreas driving which was absolutely awful.
Guest
IV didn't feel boatlike to be honest. It only felt boatlike when you're not driving properly. The Turismo in IV feels awesome to drive. It's responsive, quick and satisfying. If people want SR or SD handling in V, then they need to rethink it. Car chases wouldn't be fun because there's no risk, you can go max speed (which in those games feels slow because you don't have to maintain control, you can just hold R2)and turn anywhere on a dime, it's not satisfying. I hope when they say "it feels more like a racing game" they mean the ability to drift and better sound effects. In the gameinformer article they did say "we're able to run a little more physics on them" so that's a good sign that it's going to be just as fun to drive as it was in IV, and nothing simple like SD or SR. Killerdude
The only "Boat" Cars in GTA IV were the Dukes, Stallion, Virgo(?), Sabre GT and the Tampa. Oh and a select few others, But the majority of the vehicles did not handle like that.
Ferocious Banger
The only problem imo was the extremely soft suspensions on high-end vehicles. They are fixing that; so, no worries for me.
gta5freemode4eva
GTA IV's driving physics were superb and I loved it. Speak for yourself OP. I never thought I was driving a boat. Some of you lot just are sh*t at driving. It was soft suspension that gave the 'boat-like' feel on some vehicles... Not gonna read any more of this thread. This comment is spot on. CryptReaperDorian
I love GTA IV's vehicle handling (and TLAD's motorbike handling since that actually sucked in vanilla GTA IV). However, I can see the need for a bit more traction and slightly tighter suspensions. Honestly, R* is probably going to use TBOGT's Super Drop Diamond as the building block (which feels noticeably more arcadish than other vehicles in GTA IV and the DLCs) for GTA V's vehicle handling. I hope they don't go too far though.

I hope they don't go too far though. As long as that model includes the other cars included in BOGT - F620, Bullet and Buffalo I'm definitely cool with that. Some of the "common" cars in GTA IV are what suffered, but they definitely got some cars in the game right, and I hope they know that. If someone is unable to drive the Comet and have a ton of fun than I just feel sorry for them.

I think they aren't good and I have and consistently place in the top 500, if not better, in seasonal events in GT5.
