JStarr31
I think it would be awesome to store weapon accessories in there. Thats what got me thinking.... What if you don't buy weapons with attachments but rather just buy the attachment and store it. I really wouldn't mind if we could by a one-size-fits-all silencer that can be stored and put on any gun at anytime (except the minigun obviously). What button would be used for the inventory? It worked in RDR because you couldn't change camera views. D-pad up - Opens AND closes inventory D-pad down - Opens AND closes phone

ugotsmoked
What about a change of clothes to evade police if someone describes a suspicious looking character and describes our outfit. Or we could change out of bloody clothes into fresh clean ones...Hey it works in the movies so why not right?

Or we could change out of bloody clothes into fresh clean ones...Hey it works in the movies so why not right? I could see that being fun as F#CK!! Sadly, i don't think R* feels the same . Most likely that's what the bandanas for, i guess. On an interesting note, remember the artwork with Michael wearing pantyhose on his face in a jewelry store? Well, what if each character has their own personal type of disguise? Michael has pantyhose, Franklin has a bandana, and Trevor has a ski mask (maybe?). That would be interesting especially if they cloak identity from crimes. I hope the gas mask, scuba snorkel, and motorcycle helmet conceal identity from crimes as well
ugotsmoked
I think since we know every building will not be enterable ( especially in a map this huge ) we need something like that to better evade police.
Red XIII
- Scuba equipment: Side activity(go to specific location like scuba diving school to change into outfit) - Gas Masks: equip automatically when gas detected, similar to the helmet in GTAIV. - Franklin's Bandana: buy from clothes store, similar to san andreas system. - Lighters: weapon inventory. - Rope/Ab-sail equipment: mission specific - Silencers: press a button to attach/detach - Parachute: weapon inventory - Drugs*** - Chop's Leash/Lead: I don't think we will need that. I believe the weapon inventory will be similar to RDR's wheel.

ugotsmoked
That was always a weird decision in IV, you can be free falling to your death or swimming and pull your phone out but not crouched...WTF?
JStarr31
I think since we know every building will not be enterable ( especially in a map this huge ) we need something like that to better evade police. I agree. Some situations where a quick pick me up would help prolong the chase could only really be remedied by inventory power-ups. Also i think implementing a separate inventory would generate reason for R* to fully render certain interiors with a legit reason to enter. EX: Ammu-nation - silencers, vests, laser sights 24/7 - candy bars, drinks, chips, adrenaline pills if any one can think of more... please feel free

Backfire6
It's confirmed by R* as well. Dan Houser already said that each protag has his own inventory:http://www.examiner.com/article/new-gta-5-...n-licensed-cars Discussion finished.
