blitz
This is Ryan Ferguson. In 2005 he was sentenced to 40 years in prison for the murder of Kent Heitholt. There was absolutely no physical evidence that puts him near the scene. All the hair, blood, prints, and other evidence found on the scene did not match him. He was convicted based of off the testimonies of two people. Both of which have since admitted to perjury. This is Jerry Trump, one of the supposed witnesses. "I would like to ask forgiveness from Ryan." Jerry Trump tearfully admitted to perjury at Ryan's Habeas Corpus. This is the other supposed witness, Chuck Erickson. "And, I lied...I lied." Chuck Erickson, who once blamed Ryan for the crime, has since admitted to perjury. Despite the new evidence that proves Ryan's innocence, he was denied a new and fair trial. A petition was started: After only having 22,000 signatures for nearly a year, the petition jump started. The petition has since been submitted to Governor Jay Nixon Feel free to contact Jay Nixon to tell him your thoughts about this case. Office of Governor Jay Nixon P.O. He seems like a geniunely nice guy, and it simply sickens me that he got convicted. I alread signed, liked, followed, and did everything I can to help, hopefully we get to but this guy's freedom back.

Shoumaker
I did all of the following as well since he deserves his freedom back in my opinion based on what I have read. It will be fantastic if he could get 31 years of his life back through this. May I ask why he was denied a new and fair trial?

An already convicted criminal doesn't face double-jeopardy in a re-trial. The re-trial must have significant changes in evidence (exculpatory) or misconduct by the prosecutor. (Nancy Grace?).
