Chukkles
If they're not planning a RDR 2... Why not. Red Dead Redemption is the second game in the series. It'd make mor e sense to say RDR3 but even that won't be called Red Dead Redemption 3 in the same way we didn't get Red Dead Revolver 2. OT, horses would be cool and work for the countryside and also mounted police in the city. I'd hope they do a fair amount of damage to your car in an impact. Well why don't we just call it red dead ribooblybob to avoid future confusion, then?
KevinR1990
Horses actually do have a use in modern cities -- riot and park police. In a park, horses can go off the trails without leaving tire tracks in the grass. See a mugger or a drug dealer running across the park? Send a cop on a horse after him. And in a riot, police on horseback can easily move through a panicked crowd without doing as much damage as a cruiser, and they have an elevated position to knock heads from. That's on top of their uses in the countryside. Being able to ride horses would be cool, though it's no big loss if they're not in the game. Two or three breeds would be enough -- one breed used by the police, one breed used for farm work, and possibly a thoroughbred racehorse.

Imagine at two stars, a cop would hit you to the head with a baton. Though, I doubt cops using horses. Being able to ride horses would be cool, though it's no big loss if they're not in the game. Two or three breeds would be enough -- one breed used by the police, one breed used for farm work, and possibly a thoroughbred racehorse. That's why we only need a few breeds to only cruise around with. Too much will turn GTA V into a futurized Red Dead title. XD
danny41294
As animals are confirmed (well at least dogs) and horses were in Read Dead, I can't see they wouldn't put them in. EDIT: Horses actually do have a use in modern cities -- riot and park police This got me thinking, the only reason I can see them not putting horses in the game is I don't think it would sit to well with animal charities/horse-lovers if you could have riot police on horses coming at you and you pump 1000 rounds into a horse. Mikeol1987
If for some utterly mental reason Horses are implemented, I would be recreating this RIP Rockstar Games 1998 - 2021
LackedMushroom0
They've said this on their newswire.. "Presenting two new artwork releases, both glimpsed in our recently revealed official Grand Theft Auto V cover. This Cash and Carry pair of illustrations depicts Michael and Franklin getting things done – by sea, or by land. Of course many other modes of transport will also be available to accommodate your travel needs across Los Santos and Blaine County on September 17th..." Especially the last sentence looks like they are playing a bit with the way they're telling us that there are many other '''MODES'' of transport. Why would they say 'modes'?? And not 'vehicles' or something else? I think it might be true that there are horses in GTA V !
