Problems joining multiplayer, with router

Hey, I'm having some problems joining GTA IV Multiplayer-lobbys/games, a problem that just popped out the last couple of days. Before that I've never experienced any problems. It's the classical 'Disconnected from game session', or something similiar to that. When I tried disconnecting my router and plug the computer directly into the wall, it works.

 

Why? Can some ports all off a sudden have been blocked in the router? What ports do I need to open for GTA (Steam), and should I look for something else in the router?
