Xaynt
Did you like those other kinds of gauges from San Andreas 1? Also, should food be more related to stamina than it is to health like it is in real life?
Grand Theft Savage
What's "San Andreas 1"? The only thing I want to return from SA's meters is the Respect meter. Though I'd prefer if it was more like RDR's "Fame/Honor."
StraightedgeHardcore
I wouldn't mind if it was in the game if it were in the game. If it's there, it's there. I am impartial to this feature.

killahmatic
Ignoring the "san andreas 1" comments, I'd want the stamina meter, but only so you can build it up over the storyline. I wouldnt want to lose stamina.

DODI3OG
Are you trolling? The next time you post, make sure your posting about things that EXISTS. There wasn't a GTA game named San Andreas 1. It's merely San Andreas because GTA V is GTA V! And to answer your Question, Rockstar said that GTA SA's RPG like features won't return. This includes but not limited to gaining/losing respect, Body building, increasing skills and so forth!
MrU
Yeah, what DODI3OG said, they won't return. We will be playing three different characters with their own personalities which probably won't be something we will be able to affect that much. CalgaryJay
Nah, strength/stamina isn't really necessary IMO. I like the idea of a "respect" bar, but I don't think it works for these particular characters. Respect/street cred, etc is more of a factor when you're talking about ganglife or the streets, it could've worked with Niko too. But with the characters in V, I don't think it fits. Especially when you take the multiple protags into account.
RockStarNiko
I would like a health bar and stamina bar. You lose health after being injured, either through gunshot, melee, falling etc. To replenish health you need to use first aid kits. You lose stamina when running, climbing, fighting, swimming etc and to replenish your stamina you need to eat food. The stamina bar decreases much slower than health bar. If stamina bar falls to zero then you start to lose health gradually. So food replenish stamina bar and first aid replenish health. There could also be an item that boosts both health and stamina. Who the hell would die from low stamina? This isn't some survival game, it's GTA. Would it be a great idea for rockstar games to make a new IP based around survival? I think it would. SmoothGetaway
@RaceCarLock: RDR is pretty much R*'s take on a survival game wouldn't you say? OT: I want a health/armor bar, thats about it.
taxepleez
yes, yes and yes also there should be a psycho meter for the destructive side of the player and an assassin meter for the more precocious side of the player.
thc_404
I'd rather not. Be weird to have a middle aged dude having the same kind of stamina as his younger counterpart... I'd like to see some difference, tyvm.

Xaynt
There is only 1 San Andreas. Maybe it would be smarter to have stamina just be linked in with health, so that you have to have good health to run very fast and far.
