JupiterSound
I know this is pretty wishful thinking...But I was just imagining how cool it would be if you could go into the massive arena that appeared in one of the screenshots and find an actual basketball game going on. Or even a football game. Los Santos has fictional professional sports teams...So what if R* actually incorporated them into the game? Obviously I don't think it would be that much fun to sit and watch a game, but just imagine..What if you could walk into the arena and start shooting up a basketball game, or land a helicopter in the middle of a football stadium during a game? I know this is extremely unlikely...But let's not forget, R* is advertising this game as the "largest and most ambitious open-world game yet." Sam Houser is calling this a radical reinvention of the series. So at this point, I think it's safe for us to all let our imaginations run wild with the game. nickmajfc
I'm with you mate, if the Staples Center isn't in, i won't be too happy. Even if it's not used or anything, id just be happy if it's in. But i hope you can access events and stuff! or atleast have realistic event trafficing and stuff, like heaps of traffic around the venue when it's game day/night etc.. SunflowerSeed
Good idea! I also want WAY more interiors. It feels restricting to be in the streets all day instead of shooting up stores and libraries and malls. That would be so fun, like some "no russian" school shooting sh*t. Call me crazy but I would love to shoot up a school in GTA just because there are so many people to kill in one spot so it would be like black ops zombies- getting kill after kill is exhilarating. Atleast make something like that where you can do a massacre instead of killing a few cops every once in awhile... i was disappointed that in a city as big and populated as new york there were barely any people to kill outside of happiness island. DODI3OG
The problem is, does current-gen of consoles have the capability to generate hundreds, heck even thousands of people? NO. Does a sport game session have something to do in GTA V? NO. Even more, permitting a killing spree like that can net huge amounts of controversies. StraightedgeHardcore
A minor league style where there'd only be 10-20 people in the seats would be pretty good, though.
SeaFoam
I've always wanted a mission where you had to (for whatever the reason) find a suitable sniping position atop a stadium and take out a specific target (being one of the players) as the game was in play. I don't think being able to shoot up a sporting arena would generate any more controversy than being able to massacre an infinite amount of pedestrians, police officers, paramedics and firefighters in the streets. You could shoot up a hospital in IV and police stations in Vice City and San Andreas. This is Grand Theft Auto we're talking about. Rockstar is no stranger to controversy. StraightedgeHardcore
Rockstar is no stranger to controversy. They no the rules, and so do I. On topic: I think having minor league sporting events, like College Basketball games at arenas, would be great. Also, we know that golf is a sport that will be in it. Trailer 1 confirms its appearance.
Stevekills101
I agree. It would be cool if you could call your friends to hang out like in GTA4 but in GTA5 you could call and ask if they wanted to go to a football or basketball game.
mrsurferdude
It would be innovative and interesting, yes. f*ck it would be more interesting then damned Yoga. I wouldnt mind having a mission you have to infiltrate to get a vault/safe code or a keycard from X character or even snipe someone and make a run for it. Habs
Fictionals events yeah maybe... There's probably going to be a parody of the Kings because they won the Stanley Cup during the game development... Liberty City had a few teams like the Swingers (Baseball), Penetrators/Warriors (Basketball), Wrath (Football), Red Mist/Beavers/Cocks (Soccer) and a few others I'm too lazy to google it. Cocks Sucker... Soccer players... That's Rockstar, Hahaha. The Rampage (Hockey) also had a huge part of the story in TBOGT.
