Skitzo100
I hope I ain't the only one who think this... but anybody getting tired of people doubting rockstar hardwork. I think LS is big size city its big enough to hold two protags, and the map is big enough to enjoy. You guys pushing their opinion like they have played the game. Just settle the [email protected] down and wait for sept to come and then decide if they telling the truth or not. R* have gone to far into techenology and experience with the consoles and graphics to hold back.

shadyslady
The map will be big enough. Anyone who complains can go f*ck themselves. Seriously. It's already said that it will be bigger than San Andreas, Liberty City and New Austin/Mexico (RDR) combined. Children who cry that San Andreas had 3 cities...kids, it was small. Yes. Small. Just look how long it takes you to drive from Santos to Venturas. It was ridiculously small. Only because it's divided in San Fierro, Santos and Venturas and some landscape/desert makes everyone think it was the biggest map ever. That's bollocks. It was actually silly to go to an airport to fly to Fierro or Venturas when you could easily go there by car very fast.
LotusRIP
Seriously, how many more topics on this do you loonies want to make? We don't even know how much of the map we have (or haven't) seen. If it's not big enough, don't buy the game.

They just ran out of ammunition and can't talk about anything interesting with substance. Small map my ass. The map will be huge. This was one of the first official information. And if they already say it will be huge, it will be huge.
Official General
So I dont see the point of making such a huge map ( if thats the truth) with only one big city. This I agree with Maybe Rockstar can pull off whatever they are doing real good, but they gotta do a great deal to convince me of that. Where is your imagination? If you don't get the point of a large, diverse map, then why are you even into open world games? RDR didn't even have one major city and it was still fun as hell. V, on the other hand, will have a major city, small towns, wine country, farms, mountains, deserts, the Salton Sea, underwater environments, and probably islands as well. But yeah, if there's only one city, what's the point? Talk about seeing the glass as half empty! @ Dick Valor What I meant was that if Rockstar are gonna build such a huge map for a GTA game, then it would make sense to either : * Make more than one major city, OR * To make one major city that is very detailed, and HUGE in size. The whole point here, being that it's only one major city, and it don't look as big as it should for one major city on a whole map that is supposed to be huge. That is what I meant. GTAaLEX117
@General Because there's a balance here. A detailed city takes way more to build than countryside. Spend too much time making a bigger and more detailed city will instead mean that the countryside portion will suffer.
DODI3OG
Why would Rockstar Even bother to make another city when Los Santos itself is diverse? Creating another city wouldn't just take time and effort, it also takes away the fun LATER ON. Why do you wan't another City? Because GTA SA had a couple and you think GTA V is San Andreas 2? jamieleng
dynamic missions? yoga? plenty of stuff to do So yoga should fill the whole map? Wheres the logic? Where is this even related with the point that the map is too big for only about 50 missions... iNero, you're an idiot. If you think the rural areas are just wasted space, then...Oh who gives a f*ck you moronic troll.

Did you hear me say I believed GTA V was San Andreas 2 ? I said nothing like that, so why bring that up ? I want another city on a huge map in GTA V because to me it would be fun and more interesting to go from one place top another and feel the differences in atmosphere and character. It juts adds more to variety to the game, which I enjoyed in San Andreas. Makes no difference whether it was in SA, I just like the concept of multiple cities. However, one huge city on a huge map is fine with me as long as it actually big and detailed. So far in V's LS looks very detailed, but i'm not so sure about being very big. @ GTAaLEX117 I don't agree, I believe Rockstar can make the city a bit bigger if they wanted to. But I can only wait and see finally just how big LS really is.
DODI3OG
There might be another City, though it might just be one of those smaller cities outside LS PERIOD Take a look at GTA 4's map(sure, there was another city other than LC); LC and Alderney State. They were diverse in terms of Geography. Alderney is primarily industrial, Algonquin is the economic center, Broker-Dukes had many ran-down areas, bla3x... IMO, if another city other than LS is present in GTA V, I imagine it being another set of diverse areas. If I was just a MOD, I would've temp-banned those idiots whose ideas are far from being constructive and relative from the topic.
LotusRIP
I think people are forgetting that there will be other small towns scattered around the map... it won't be like as if there's Los Santos and then a huge empty desert/mountains... if you've ever played a R* game you know they make the most of all the map space. RDR is probably the best example... just imagine the map of RDR with a Los Santos size city down the bottom of the map... plus Mt Chiliad - a dream come true!!! I'm sure small towns will have different feels among them as well. A town near the woods would feel different than the other towns in the Desert and the towns near Alamo Sea. ChillyPhilly
Myself and deffpony independently came to a conclusion that Los Santos isn't huge, but is still at least a few miles across. http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...entry1062378455
