GTA2THACORE Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 With the spawn of a jetpack, made traveling so much easier in gta sa, but with all these new flying jets, airplanes, and helicopters I highly doubt the jetpack will return, so do you think the jetpack from san andreas will return to gta v?? No more goofy sh*t, no matter how fun it was. This isn't a game anymore. It has become art, and art wants to be taken seriously. Can't have a jetpack flying around in the background when you have a fully detailed character with a suit and what not walking around totally realsitic thanks to animation and motion capturing....or something like that A fat tattooed guy with a ridiculous haricut in a pathetic set of clothing flyin with a jetpack from a to b - No longer in GTA my friend, no longer. You gotta play Saints Row for that I guess. I got too old for that sh*t though. Loving the way GTA is since HD. Couldn't and wouldn't go back to the old era anymore after that. Mount the mini gun on something or provide Hulk as a protag. Otherwise it is too "goofy" to be taken seriously. Besides, we already have jet packs. They burn fuel like a bitch though. I'd liken V's rules of realism to an OTT action movie like the Die Hard series, especially the latest ones. Seriously riding the edge of believability, but never going full on silly. I mean Max Payne 3 had some pretty unbelievable things in it, but the story was played straight. Much straighter than the HD GTA games seem to be. I loved it in SA, it was fun, and if you didn't like it then you don't have to use it. My prediction/hope is that the Jetpack is one of those things we can buy at the end of the game, so that we didn't earn all that money to just have it sitting there at the bank. 1987_EC Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 wow i dont get ppl sometimes..why not? why not have a jetpack included in the game, it was quite allot of fun in sa it will sure be even more fun to use in GTA V..and btw there is actually a real working jetpack which doesnt stay up in the air for only a couple of seconds but for like 30 minutes..its called martin jetpack look it up in google, sometimes people are too close minded after all its a game made for fun not for total realism same thing has been said about oculus in 3rd person that it wont work out and ppl been wrong about it aswell and take a look at this----> (at 7:30) 3rd person would definately work pretty good with oculus people have no idea what theyre talking about.
