Eminence E.
Just as the title speaks. Will V take you back in the time when you used to play SA? Will it make you remember those old SA days?
Official General
Well playing GTA IV did not remind me of my GTA III days one bit, so go and work that one out for yourself.
ugotsmoked
Doubtful due to the huge graphical difference.

Tycek
Better not, because it won't be nice to remember that game. It's better to leave it where it should be.

San Andreas was great. You respect the legend of San Andreas or Michael will shoot you and rob you and make you humble. You said it yourself. It was great back in 2004, but today it's not that special anymore and with all these fanboys around I grew up some kind of hatred for that game. It was the biggest GTA, it was great, but it's not the best. There isn't any legend around that game. GTA 1 or GTA 3 - they are legends, but SA was another step stone to greatness. Sometimes it's better to let something go than trying to bring it at any possible occasion. Edited April 14, 2013 by Tycek

73duster
LOL. It seems some people cannot grasp the concept of a game "reminding", rather than being a carbon copy. I'd LOVE to see things that remind me of the greatest game EVER made, San Andreas. I don't expect to see anything that reminds me of SA, but it would be great if it DID. Most of all, i'd like to turn down a street that looks awfully familiar to Grove Street. Perhaps a redeveloped area that includes the legendary cul de sac. GoldenBlade
Somewhat. It'll possibly have similarities that'll make it possible to remember SA. The similarities will probably be harder to recognize, though, due to major graphical improvements.
Johan
Probably just because of the city I'll remember a bit of it, but apart from that I will barely remember San Andreas

GTAgamersquirrel
I hope there is a red haze around dawn, that would make me think of SA. Like in this picture, The graphics may be superior to SA but I still get the same vibe. Edited April 14, 2013 by GTAgamersquirrel
weebreezy
How the _ _ _ _ will you know untill you've played it, we havent seen a single bit of gameplay, only screens. its impossible to say if it will remind you or not, plus the time/era is different, more technology, less gang related things, etc... DODI3OG
IMO, SA and V will have different vibes/atmospheres/themes. If IV was too dark and serious and SA was to fun and OTT, then V is in the middle. The only thing that may remind me of SA in V are some of LS' landmarks such as the Vinewood sign, the Observatory etc.
