I personally like the song a bit better than Gangnam Style, but they both are pretty awesome. So think about this for a second, ignore the individual people on internet all at once, but just look at the numbers for a second. There is a statistic that goes around a lot that there is around 2 billion people who surf the internet on a regular basis, If Gangnam Style has over 1.5 billion views then over 75% of the internet population has view the video. What if everybody watched it at least twice? That alone already cuts the number in half. And you know everybody who has seen it, did so multiple times. That really hurts the numbers. I still agree with you though, it is impressive, but i generally dislike the notion of views = viewers. That's nowhere near the truth, for every video btw.
