Sometimes developers leave the 'fun' glitches alone in the QA process, or they simply miss them. So it might not the be swing-set glitch, but it could be something else that does basically the same thing. Hey, that's part of the fun of some glitches. It's about the discovery and the sheer randomness of them. But glitches are glitches; they're not meant to be there. So let's not expect any specific ones, as their job is to make sure there are as little as possible. Just let them do their thing and I'm sure that 2 years from now we'll be talking about that one super fun glitch in V, or maybe more, because nobody's perfect and perhaps because they noticed something fun and kept it in, after checking that it doesn't have any game-breaking side effects, that is. Everything can't come to you, sometimes you have to seek. OP, It was a fun glitch, but it'll get old quick if it's the SAME glitch. Maybe more glitches, but similar to the 'Swing' glitch, and to the one in RDR where it sends you to the skies and you can see the map. TheMisanthrope Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 It was pretty cool when you first discover it, but it wasn't the funnest thing to do you smash up a few cars and it was back to being bored.... The time i flew over the park and into the water was f*cking amazing that was the most fun I had out of all of them. I didn't find out about some of the glitches on GTA IV until a year or two after it came out. But I seriously doubt they are going to add glitches back into a game when your goal is to actually rule out all the bugs and glitches that you can find it just wouldn't make sense. After doing it 3 times, i realized there was nothing more i'd get out of doing it other than the car going up in the air and falling. Its not something that should be re-added. R* wanted the swing to feel realistic and affect your character with some force when it swung around. The problem was that they ended up making the swing a little too powerful. Anytime I see some kids going for the Sultan RS and race to the airpot or the swingset, I kill them. Oh the swingset glitch...my car gets wrecked and I'll be thrown away...how very f*cking funny. Yes it was fun, it was a bit of light entertainment to take away the miserable boredom of Niko talking about Roman's Mom being raped, or his friends being slaughtered. Blowing people up is fun too, I would just rather have another fun thing to do aswell. Nothing wrong with doing something "childish" for fun, San An had a simillar thing - towing a hotdog van with a tractor, when you started weaving it would fling you for miles - it was silly but fun.
