RoadRunner71
After a day full of trolls like today, this thread may sounds like a joke for some, but it's not Well, backing to topic, remember in GTA IV how after every fight, from shootouts to melee combats you had the clothes full of blood? If you were just messing around and going into random shootouts it wasn't a problem but instead, in you were going to the nightclubs or with friends it was kinda annoying. The question is, there were many open laundries in IV but they hadn't any other purpose that robbing the cash register, but now apparently the economy will have such a big importance ingame, maybe we will have the option to clean our clothes when they get dirty (something like the carwash but with the player clothes)? Damn you can't drive your convertible through Vinewood with your shirt full of blood!
BenVS
Well it will certainly come in handy for Trevor's minging, filthy white shirt
UrbanTheEmcee
Trevor smells like month old ass and balls, so washing his clothes want do much but mask sweat, meth, and urine. However If we can wash his mildew smelling ass with some Ivory soap, maybe the peds won't be talking sh*t all the time.
Red XIII
What would this add to the game? It wouldn't add fun or immersion so I say its a no go.
The Scottish Guy
Well it will certainly come in handy for Trevor's minging, filthy white shirt Nah, that's what gives him character. Sweaty pit stains 'n all.
RoadRunner71
What would this add to the game? It wouldn't add fun or immersion so I say its a no go. And why would you clean or buy a car when you can rob another one? Why would you even want to buy a safehouse if you don't have to sleep ingame? I think those small details add some immersion, would Michael dress like a tramp with a suit full of sh*t?
DODI3OG
What would this add to the game? It wouldn't add fun or immersion so I say its a no go. This. It's also annoying to have restrictions when your clothes are dirty/bloody.

It's just an extra feature, like the car wash in GTA IV, you can use it but if you don't it doesn't happen anything...
NewYorkMets1
Should be optional, adds role-play element for MP roleplayers, or even SP.
IAmFairbrother
This i think is what game informer were talking about when they said that NPC's are more interactive than before so you might be walking down a road in beverly hills and you may hear people saying ''take a bath you hippy''. Who knows?! Well R*.
AuSsIeThUnDeR36
Would get annoying just like the hunger notification in SA. Imagine this - You are on a mission tailing a guy around a sweeping curve with a cliff edge to your right. Drop box appears 'YOUR CLOTHES ARE DIRTY, GO TO YOUR LAUNDROMAT' and while you are trying to read that you crash over the cliff edge 'MISSION FAILED, THE GUY GOT AWAY'

TheMisanthrope
Well that was actually easy to fix in GTA IV just take a taxi to one of the 4 safehouses and just scroll to a new shirt or pair of shoes doesn't matter you don't even gotta have to change just clicking on the wardrope cleans your clothes... I'm not saying a laudromat wouldn't be cool as it would add to roleplaying but it's just as easy to go home and change clothes in my opinion. saintsrow
Dirty car - car wash; dirty clothes - laundromat same thing. Actually I would rather not wash clothes, but I see the OP's point. In TBOGT, and maybe in GTA IV, every once in a while, a nearby NPC ped will make a comment about the protag having body odor. I shoot 'em, beat 'em or burn 'em, when they do that. Racecarlock
We won't get any negative effects for not washing, right? Because if we don't I won't care. If we do, I will rain down upon you with the fire of a thousand essays.
