I think it should be just like it was in IV but maybe a Bit more and less varying on the amounts? Hand Guns - 1500 in IV. They should be around 820 Shotguns - 80 should be 100 SMG - 1,200 should be 1300 or 1000 Assault Rifle - 600 perfect or 700 - 650 is reasonable. ugotsmoked Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 I feel it should be 1000 for each even shotguns, if I am playing freemode and am good enough to stay alive I should be able to keep racking up the rounds. So, when you have some money built up, I think you should be able to purchase more ammo, and store it at your house/apartment. That way, when you are drained of funds, (possibly from a story event) you can then refill your ammo from what you have stockpiled at your house. It's what may happen when when you don't use condom... OP, I think there should be an option to carry more ammo: sport bags like the ones the characters have in some artwork and trailer 2 parts. _L1pE_ Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 You should carry less of bigger cartridges, and it should be a multiple of the standard mag size, Ie.: being able to carry only 510 rounds of 7.62x39mm (if you have a Norinco) while being able to carry 690 rounds of 5.56x45mm (if you have a TAR-21, HK416, etc.). I don't know if it's still in use, but the m79 vest the us army used for the m203 grenade launcher grenades carried just about 22 grenades, 3 less than the total amount you could carry in IV. I also would like if there are some weapon limits like if you have a mingun you leave only 3 or 2 slots for something small like a pistol, grenade... In the older GTA games you can carry thousands of ammo for each weapon and you get unlimited ammo when reached 100% completion . Cockstar was being stupid when they make ammo limits in IV, limiting our fun for so-called realism. Don't they f*cking realize that it is a video game so if the MC can carry thousands of ammo with their weapons, they can because it's not f*cking real life. Thanks Cockstar for ruining our fun.
