iNero
We saw Franklin wearing a Bandana. In RDR there is a Honor and Glory System ( probably called different as i translate it from the germand dubs atm) where u did get Honor and Glory for good things you do like helping shopkeepers and so on or you lose glory and honor when doing bad things. However, when wearing the bandana you did not lose glory or honor by doing bad things neither did earn when doing good things ( i learned it the hard way by winning 20 + duels before I noticed that the bandana has a use) So we know a similar system in the gta stats menu. There u have different titles like u got here in the forum. ( snitch, homeboy and so on) You get new titles the more u play/complete missions. So imo they implemented a RDR-like system and bandanas work like they do in RDR. Additionally they should effect you wanted level in GTA5. Like when u kill somebidy with a bandana equiped and u take it off while you are out of sight , it should affect like changing car does in GTA4: police wont notice you even when they are near you. Also there should be more Gear that has special use like: They should.have different abilities. Like the gas mask obviously should protect from teargas and so on. Probaly some gear could have same use like the scarf should have the same as the bandana.
redx165
snippy No cause GTA is a criminal game. You're suppose to be bad. While RDR is a western game. That honor and fame system worked well in it. Edited April 13, 2013 by Kirsty
iNero
Did u ever watch heist movies or similar? in many of them Honor plays a big role. and like i said. a similar system. the masks still would make sense for the wanted system and different abilities
Racecarlock
What would it be tied to? You can't subtract honor for killing random civilians because most people are going to rampage and the system would be pointless. Even if they didn't, sometimes a pedestrian brilliantly decides to jump in front of your car anyways. I mean, seriously, does anyone play GTA to be a nice, honest, moral person? And even if you do, do you really want a stat that would force others to do the same if they wanted the perks?
