s-u-r-y-a
I hadn't listened to that track in a very long time. It sounds better than I remember. I didn't know that it had a video as well. What a nice surprise. Turn It Up is not bad at all. A short documentary about the man behind this brilliant track and many more. I loved his work before I knew who he was. Rod Temperton was groovy as it could be and a musical genius IMO. Spoiler Death and Harold of the Rocks
Death
Short-lived Italo-Disco 80's project. Only released this song along with an instrumental of the same track. The singer also sang in a rock/pop-oriented solo EP. Edited January 29 by Death s-u-r-y-a
s-u-r-y-a
Evo was a short lived Italo-Disco and New Wave performer (Silvana Noris) of Italian and German origins, based in Italy, who merged her martial arts experience with music. Three singles were released between 1983 and 1985 before she subsequently devoted herself to writing and publishing books. The instrumental version is my favorite. Silvana Noris performing a harakiri (ritual suicide by disembowelment with a sword, formerly practiced in Japan by samurai as an honorable alternative to disgrace or execution) at an event party in 1979.
