Map Size Thread

First of all, they are called impostors. Most of the impostors you see are coming from actual lamposts, other from cars. The cars disappear when you zoom in because it is only an .lod model, it would look bad if you zoomed in so why keep it there? And they are only there to make the city look more alive.

 

LS is honestly big enough. Big map does not mean more fun.

I know this is kinda old but after playing GTA 5, the map way impressive but there are still plenty of other games older than GTA 5 that have larger, more creative free roam maps.

 

I wish they could have included Las Venturas with casinos that you can go into and rob or gamble in to win millions. And the military base should have been bigger like Edwards AFB in California. And they could have added more animals like what RDR had. It seems like the 'big map' was all hype and publicity by Rockstar to try to sell more pre orders. I to expected more.

Funny how one of the biggest complaints about the game pre-release was the map size and now the game is released nobody complains about it.

 

Also funny how before release only a select few people complained about yoga being in the game, and post-release everyone mentions it when they complain about V.

 

Seriously, what were they expecting when yoga was confirmed for a GTA game?

The map is no where the size of RDR, iv and San Andreas. San Andreas alone is bigger if you count interiors, heaven and all the safehouses. V map is just filled with mountians and a junk city. How could they use Los Santos the worst city they have created. I was expecting a way bigger map with Las Venturas atleast. But overall it is a small map compared to other games (not just gta).
