Sorry, but especially in THIS thread where mostly everybody backs up their ideas with absolutely bundles of evidence I need a little more than 'because I'm sure' and 'because trust me' especially after seeing these two pictures from Magic Al and also that demonstration of driving across the width of the road and measuring how many meters had been crossed http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...entry1062777971

The second one looks a lot more like the IV road, which I'm inclined to think is 6 meters based on F4t4l1ty's post

 

The whole avoiding the question thing doesn't look great brian. Whilst I don't doubt your intelligence in certain areas, I don't see how you can disprove F4t4l1ty's measurement with a simple "because I just know", especially considering that he did the same measurement using the tennis courts and it came out the same as a real life tennis court.

It's a chunk of countryside. There's still massive countryside, city, dessert and sea left... And imo it looks massive and beautiful.

Sorry but I personally think it looks big enough to easily fit Liberty City or at least a good chunk of Liberty City between Los Santos and the Alamo Sea

Considering we are supposed to fly over this area in fast jets - I just cannot see how the map (entire) will be that large.

 

The land area is probably around 15 sq miles MAX. Which is not that large.

And have you guys considered that we know as a fact how large the map is and that it's three and a half times RDR which is massive. Jesus guys.

If anyone thinks that Los Santos City is small they gotta go get their eye balls checked out cause it looks f*cking huge to me and I get my eye balls tested regularly so ain't nothing wrong with my eye balls son!!

 

I think the fact that the city doesn't really have an obvious end to it is what is confusing people. With IV you knew where it ended because it was all separate islands but Los Santos kinda of blends into the countryside/hills.

 

Also, I think people lack of a sense of scale. It MIGHT look small but you're seeing all of it at once from a distance/height. Once you're on the ground walking around it'll feel absolutely massive.

Exactly, look at this shot. Keep in mind that the Broker/Dukes island is the largest in the game. And also by the looks of it, this isn't at all as high up as that GTA 5 skydive shot, I couldn't take it from higher up or else the far end glitches out.

I think this works very well with the previous Los Santos size scales when compared to LC when you compare SA to LC based on this scale.

2. you've marked the N part of LS as well? You realize that's a hill, meaning the whole distance is much larger.
