Moth
Smugglers's Run.Played it at a mate's house and expected a lot. Didn't deliver. When did you play it? The game is over 12 years old at this point. It was pretty good at the time, large open areas to do sh*t in. Very few games were like that in 2000. Formerly known as The General
GTA_stu
I lent Smuggler's Run from a friend, when it was fairly new. I didn't mind it, not great but not bad either. State of Emergency was kinda fun at the time too. I remember playing some god-awful Austin Powers game on Gameboy, now that was f*cking bad. Definitely the worst I've played. Probably around 2005 or 2006, so the game was only a few years old, I expected more but I will admit that it probably was a much better game in comparison to others at the time of its release. Mr Rabbit
Red Dead revolver for me was the worst R* game i played, could not get into it, even made me hesitant on Redemption
Lelouch The Zero
lol just kidding. GTA V is the best! Midnight Club DUB Edition IMO. I dont say it's the worst but this game made me rage so hard that I actually took out the UMD from my PSP and smashed it off the wall. (It didnt suffer much damage, I can still play it) I still play it from time to time and i'm getting better at it which makes my rage level go down. You cannot hide this blasphemy! MC 3 is without a doubt the best arcade racer to come out of the PS2. It definitely is challenging, but that's part of the fun! Finally defeating that DAMN racer is one of my personal most favorite gaming satisfaction moments. I love and hate MC 3 so much. Yes. It's really damn hard. But MC LA... nope. Not even close. And as for R*'s worst, Smuggler's Run. Could have been a lot more, but wasn't. MC3 Dub Edition's graphics is what GTA SA should of been, those graphics on the cars and backgrounds were amazing! Guest
How is Midnight Club LA bad!?!?!? It's in my top 5 games this gen, I've played that alot! Anyway I've not really played a bad R* game, but I'll go with what others have said and say GTA Advance.
Freakorama
Out of Rockstar games I've actually played, GTA IV was the worst. I've only really played the GTA series and that's it.
Shenmue18
Max Payne 3, without a doubt. The worst GTA though for me would be GTA IV.

Pyrrhic
Why have no one said Lemmings yet Becuase it was a good game. @LewisMiller I loved State of Emergency, had some great times on that back in the day. Still remember thinking tazing people in the mall was the funniest f*cking thing in the world.

Lock n' Stock
I forgot Rockstar even made lemmings. They didn't. Rockstar North did when they were just known as "DMA Design", and of course not owned by Take-Two/Rockstar at the time. I remember playing some god-awful Austin Powers game on Gameboy, now that was f*cking bad. Definitely the worst I've played. They did make two of those if I'm not mistaken. Here they are. Most likely you won't have heard of these games. They may well be the most obscure titles Rockstar have published. It's funny that the studio that developed these (Tarantula Studios) would later become Rockstar's quality assurance team (Rockstar Lincoln). Cosmic Gypsy
Manhunt 2 or CTW, both purdy sh*tty. Yeah, Manhunt 2 also, terrible game. I only played the censored UK version, but f*ck what a failure. It all seemed totally pointless, badly acted, totally sh*t compared to 1. @LewisMiller, and i forgot about the PS2 version of State Of Emergency, terrible game, the Xbox version was much better though what with the split screen capabilities, quite fun rioting against your friends, picking up the power ups and perks etc. State Of Emergency 2, or 3 exists but i can't find ANY gameplay on YouTube and have NEVER seen it for sale, shame, because they actually made the rioting decent by the looks of things. (I've never played it) Oh yeah, MC LA never looked good, not even when it first came out. Considering the quality of the PS2 era MC's, MC LA is a huge disappointment. Guest
Cosmic Gypsy, are you bashing MCLA because of the graphics? The graphics are nice, clean and tidy. MCLA improved on many aspects that MC3 lacked in. Improved the car customisation, added a slightly better storyline with more cutscenes, and may I add those cutscenes were rendered in-game (MC3 and before cutscenes were pre-rendered) MCLA is one of the best games this gen, I don't see how you could not like it. Are you just stuck on a race or something?

darthYENIK
Got to go with GTA Advanced. It was just barely playable. Runner up: State of Emergency. It was fun for about three hours, and then it just turns into mass murder, and that's fun for about 20 minutes, and then it's useless.

Shiva.
Manhunt 2. Whilst, I loved how all those gruesome stealth kills and creepy surroundings set this game apart from other stealth games, it turned me off after a certain point. Judging by the first level in that creepy asylum, I thought this game would offer more such environment and scary gameplay elements but I was disappointed as soon as the game took a sudden leap and transformed into the same "go here and kill!" third-person shooter. The plot was good though.

CryptReaperDorian
GTA Advance wasn't even developed by R*. Even then, I still think that game is better than the original GTA and its London expansions (at least 1969, haven't played 1961) since you can at least save your progress. Also, it's the only GTA title that actually has a working speedometer. Still, as far as the top-down titles (or isometric if you're nitpicky), GTA 2 and GTA CW leaves GTA 1, GTA London 1969, and GTA Advance in the dust. Even then, I don't think any GTA title is bad. There's been very average ones, but no bad ones (in my opinion).
