snickerzz
So we all know rockstar is holding back a lot of info and secrets so that we are surprised when we play the game and we dont already know everything. Well what about the pc gamers? If rockstar doesnt release the pc version at the same time as console all the pc gamers are going to know pretty much everything from all the videos and discussions about gta v on consoles. T0X1C
Most gamers are console gamers. So what if the game won't be much of a surprise if it releases on PC? They'll still make money.

Buy a PS4 when they come out and keep it so when the next GTA game comes out you will be able to play it. Just buy a used PS3/360 for half the price. Red Dead Redemption is about $30 for the Game of the Year edition which will hold you till Grand Theft Auto V comes out. Grand Theft Auto V will be $60. You have all this money to upgrade your PC but you can't buy a used console.

Deffpony
So let me get this straight. You think rockstar is stupid because they are going to release GTA V for current gen consoles, which have a much higher installation base than PC's, without delaying this release in order to simultaneously release for PC? Its dumb to make revenue on the console based sales for the 6 months that PC gamers wait for the port? Its dumb to make the PC version a lower priority, knowing that PC games are pirated like crazy? Andreas
Who cares. PC gamers can go buy a PS3 or 360 and enjoy the game too. They can also pick up a copy of Red Dead Redemption. I'm certain that if you would be a PC gamer because you either prefer to play on that platform or you live in a country where a console costs more money than a PC, then you would understand why your argument is redunant. It is simple to say "Who cares, buy a console" but you certainly wouldn't like it if other would tell you this if you would be in the situation of the PC gamers. OT: The PC wont give R* 1/4 of the income that the consoles will, so they will release the game earlier for the consoles hoping the PC players will buy it also and then 5 or so month later they will release a PC version. They could probably port the PC version to the next gen consoles aswell so its a win win for R*.

DarkDayz
This is far from the first time a game came out on console before pc. get over it. Yeah I know but it doesn't make much sense. Yes it does. If I'm thinking of buying the game as a console owner, the last thing Rockstar want is me going onto YouTube and watch modded videos shortly after release. People have more consoles too, and a majority of people with a gaming ready PC also have consoles, which ultimately leads to two sales. Logically and financially, releasing on PC half a year after the console release is the best thing they can do. GTA IV has sold 25 million copies to because of this system, grossing nearly or over 2 billion dollars in it's lifetime to date. Questioning it and saying it's wrong is a bit silly really, especially when Rockstar have 100k salary marketing directors who know a bit more than you about how to market the game and how the lifetime cycle should happen. I play on PS3 and I was mad games like Left 4 Dead wasn't on PS3 so instead of complaining I saved up money and brought a Xbox 360. There is no excuse in why you shouldn't pick up a cheap console. Its great to have the best of two worlds.
Kiffster
I'm a PC gamer but I don't care if I see everything the game has to offer before I play it! Plus, if you don't want to know everything, don't look!! Nobody's forcing you to... With gta4, I saw EVERYTHING about a year or so before I got a chance to play it for the first time, and I still enjoyed it and still saw billions of stuff I've never seen before! Andreas
It will never come to PC just like Red Dead Redemption. Yeah, if you ignore the fact that Red Dead Redemption was developed by Rockstar San Diego and Midnight Club II was their last title which was released for PC; that was back in July 2003! GTA V on the other hand, is like all GTA games so far, developed by Rockstar North and all non-exclusive GTAs so far were released for PC. Uhhh kinda, its the same way when you see something for 300$ and 299.99 the 299.99 seems like less whens its really not. Plus if you just buy the game you don't need to back the files up, you don't need to risk getting involved with the popo, you don't need to worry about cracks working or viruses.
