-The fact you get that junky crap rubbish garbage Super GT heap of $hit as a "reward" for the bronze medal in the driving-school is nothing but a mix of contempt, provocation and sadism.

 

 

That.........thing is so lame and the good cars are so rare why the hell didn't they replace it with a Flash or a Sultan? Whoever decided to make the Super GT so horrible to drive, force the player to use that waste for the last driving-school mission and make that trash a "reward" is an insane psycho who should be locked up in a lunatic asylum for countless years.

The only place where the Super GT would fit is the Harwood junkyard as a compacted wreck.

How dare you insult the almighty Super GT? That car is made for Alpha Male drivers! It's simply a case of git gud and you'll love it :p Flash and Sultan are boring in comparison.

max payne 2 was developed on it's own engine and san andreas was done on renderware. i don't think they could have achieved ragdoll with renderware

Ragdoll is possible with Renderware.

- CJ gets hungry (what the sh*t, is this The Sims?)

- CJ's relationship with Catalina, specially when she tells him she's leaving SA to LC with Claude and CJ gets all sad.

- CJ's pussy moments. Such a shock after the badass Tommy Vercetti.

- Missions that are not linked well, like Black Project (last part of the cutscene still bothers me, The Truth just says "Go Go Go!" and CJ is like "well just gonna steal some military stuff then").

I always hated the fact that during the Lowrider mini game, depending on the track that's plaing if you placed a higher bet on money, my damn car always flips over every few times, lol. I f*cking hate that after pusing so many buttons. As soon as i'm close to finishing the song about to win, my goddamn Savana f*cking flips over cauing me to fail the entire thing.

Yeah dude real sh*t, lol :D Try for yourself. Depending how hard the song is to lowride, it's possible your whip can flip over causing you to fail the whole thing. Doesn't matter how much money you bet, if it flips you loose the competition, lolz.

I hate how CJ can't break into a locked vehicle. Now to be fair this always annoyed me in GTA III and Vice City too, but it's something I thought that would've been fixed in San Andreas. It's hilariously bad when it involves a convertable as I always think "Well just jump over instead of pulling on the door like an idiot".

 

Thankfully this was rectified in the HD era. Now the protagonists just break the windows so locked vehicles aren't a problem like uh a normal person would do if they're trying to steal a car.

I hated the fact that the Levaithan only had a magnet for one mission and it was slow af.

 

The magnet removal was the most annoying quality of the chopper as doing the Import missions was a pain when the car you were looking for was halfway across the map and I CBA to go to that location to get a crappy car that you will never want to drive (I'm looking at you Sentinel)

Agreed. K-DST is the only decent station I like. The rest are pretty forgettable/average at best.

I really hate how the commercials just happen unannounced. I mean, you're listening to a song on any of the music stations, and suddenly, without warning, commercial break. It would've been nice if R* took some extra time to have the radio DJs record commercial announcements for each station. And SF-UR has no station ID's whatsoever, so jumping in from a house song to a commercial is really jarring. Plus, not a single song on SF-UR plays without Hans Oberlander's dialogue. It's almost like R* at one point wanted SF-UR to be a continuous mix station, like the GTA III and Vice City radio stations, and other stations such as Electro-Choc, the Classics 104.1 and FlyLo FM in later games, but didn't bother with it.

 

Another thing I kinda dislike is how news reports after certain missions can only be heard on WCTR, whereas in other games, the news can be heard anywhere. Again, R* should've made the news available on all the radio stations and have the radio DJs record news announcements for each station. Thankfully, R* learned their lesson with GTA IV and V.

- I hate the city restriction, If I pass Los Santos without completing the mission required, I got 4 Stars Wanted Level. Same goes to GTA IV

- Can't jacked locked car (Unless using mod for some reasons)

- Storyline giving me a little bit bored

- N.O.E Mission

- Big Smoke's Follow the damn train and His orders became overused memes in Late 2016

- Premier grills looks a bit dull compared to Caprice '91

- OVERUSED MODS!!! *cough 2 times* excuse me *cough 2 times* Police Bikes all over the place!!

It's almost like the car was locked so you couldn't steal it.

 

OT: Like with any open world game travelling around the map is boring after hours and hours of gameplay. The way some areas are designed are extremely flawed. The layout of Flint County was especially annoying.

The map is one of the few things I really like about San Andreas, but I will say one thing not having rideable taxis is a HUGE pain in the ass. Sometimes I just want to get to my destination without worrying about going on a boring drive to get there. I'm glad this was added in the HD era.

 

One of those most helpful features of the series that should've been in San Andreas.

Waiting for Am Shaegar to come in and tell you that you should have paid more attention to the story

 

OT: Flight School. Seriously. f*ck it. Playing it to this day still gives me PTSD.

 

The way all schools are implemented are odd too. Like does watching the TV suddenly give CJ the ability to perform the tests?

I think it's implied that the videos played on the TV are the instructions, and then CJ goes out to attempt each manoeuvre.

 

I didn't so much have a problem with the schools, at least when it came to passing them. If you're going for all gold, that can be a different story.

Even if I think the franchise would get boring if all the main characters had the same personality than in 3 and Vice City, even if I appreciate the fact you play a human character you can identify with and even if I find CJ's personality globally consistent, well made and appreciate the way he changes as the story goes I would appreciate him much more if Carl became a badass-alpha-male like Tommy Vercetti at the end of the game.

Thing is the Las Venturas arc seems to go in that direction. We see CJ taking initiative and being more of a badass (found out who was making problems at Woozie's casino via a ruthless method, the heist plan was all his, he gained Sal's trust just so he could backstab him, does a good job with being Madd Dogg's manager etc.) but then as soon as Sweet comes out his character regresses into LS arc CJ who just takes Sweet's sh*t and wants to somehow prove himself again.

 

So yeah I don't think CJ's character is consistent at all (at least not after the Los Santos arc), he changes randomly & the way the plot demands it.

The trouble with San Andreas is that it had some pretty stupid missions. Supply Lines, Riot, Cop Wheels, and Photo Opportunity, to name a few. Now, "stupid" isn't the same as "difficult", although they do correlate. A lot of the missions are stupid because the developers made them too hard and unrealistic, such as Supply Lines. Some are stupid because they're too easy. For example, Riot; all you do is drive to Grove Street from Madd Dogg's mansion, without any challenge. You would think that, as the game advances, the missions would become more difficult, and require more effort to complete successfully; however, that's not the case. Others are simply time wasters, such as the missions that entail extended driving, and/or require dating someone. It's much easier to kill your "girlfriend" to speed up the process to get what you need, than to take the time to date them.

 

Another annoyance, albeit minor one, are the time restrictions on triggering missions. "Come back between [Time 1] and [Time 2] for a job..." (or something to that effect). GTA III had this as well, although only for one character.

What about Master Sounds? That's a dope station. Radio Los Santos was good. Radio X too (but could have been better, some lame songs on it)
