Honestly there seems to be more neons in the SA version than the real life version.. the real life version just has a lot more lights.

Thanks thirteenAG, I'll wait for the solution of the bug.

 

And StrafeBolt I think the same, Venturas need more neons. ThirteenAG hopefully bring attention to this request :lol:

Honestly there seems to be more neons in the SA version than the real life version.. the real life version just has a lot more lights.

I guess you are right, but i don't know, never went to Las Vegas to see it for myself. Regardless i think a few more neons in Las Venturas wouldn't hurt, and honestly would look cool as heck, even if it doesn't match the real life version :cool:.

Well that's up to him, but like i said it will look damn cool.

Gotta agree with that. Neons make everything look just that much fancier. :p

Archive reuploaded, those windows in the air should be fixed.

Regarding billboard neon - won't fix, unless someone edits the model(i don't want to put billboard model also because it's not timed object).

 

 

Maybe a Las Venturas Neons mod in the future?

Well i didn't know about that, i will try to post this on the mod request thread then. Anyways you did a nice job converting those VCS neons, i installed VC again just for this mod. :lol:

Oh, now I understand. My game have SilentPatch, Trails, Widescreen Fix and CLEO Car Spawner. Any of these mods is the error or incompatible with this?

More bugs. I don't know if it's only on my game.

 

Flickering neons, red to green and green to red with the minimum movement:

On this the neon get stretched with the minimum movement:

And this one (probably the issue with the ghost windows on the sky):

I'm telling you, something wrong on your side. Try to use another savegame or a new game, maybe that's the problem.

Try to move the gta-vc.dat lines that references neons ipls to the very end of the dat (i.e. after mansion.IPL if stock).

Thanks LINK/2012 works flawless, now the tarbrush cafe doesn't spawn anymore inside of that building. :)

Now I only have the ghost windows on the sky bug, curiously only happens on my desktop PC, in my laptop doesn't happen. :lol:

Wow I completely forgot about this mod, I remember looking at it like a year ago and it completely amazed me... It just makes Vice City even more beautiful and more like an 80s Miami, seriously it's stunning!

Anyway nope, no gta3.img, you basically just need to paste data dir from the zip into your game dir and add a few lines to gta_vc.dat, the readme explains everything fairly well.

When I try to open the game after install this mod, it doesnt load, only the half of the line.

Mods I think that can affect: Sky Full of Stars

Please make an Auto-Install version of this :)

i tryed to increase limit even in mvl and again Address: 004081C4 error C0000005 :S
i really fall in love with tthis mod

I also have the same error at adress 004a3B1 when installing this mod, even on a clean game.

 

I add the data file in the root directory, so the neons folder shows up between all the other map files.

 

Then I added the required lines to the gta_vc.dat file, the link below shows the file with the added lines.

I also installed the latest Open Limit Adjuster.

 

But as mentioned I get an unhandled exception while the game is loading my saved game or new game, this was tested on a unmodded Vice City.

Lighting made texture and opaque. It's not well. I also thought in the beginning that this is a bug.

This neons remember neons of Vice City Stories Ps2/PsP, you converted from VCS or remake this? :) good work ^^
