[REL|VC] Vice City Neons

Honestly there seems to be more neons in the SA version than the real life version.. the real life version just has a lot more lights.

I guess you are right, but i don't know, never went to Las Vegas to see it for myself. Regardless i think a few more neons in Las Venturas wouldn't hurt, and honestly would look cool as heck, even if it doesn't match the real life version :cool:.

 

And StrafeBolt I think the same, Venturas need more neons. ThirteenAG hopefully bring attention to this request :lol:

Gotta agree with that. Neons make everything look just that much fancier. :p

Archive reuploaded, those windows in the air should be fixed.

Regarding billboard neon - won't fix, unless someone edits the model(i don't want to put billboard model also because it's not timed object).

 

 

Maybe a Las Venturas Neons mod in the future?

Anyways you did a nice job converting those VCS neons, i installed VC again just for this mod. :lol:

That's really all thanks to MAJEST1C_R3 and HackMan128, they did most of the job.

More bugs. I don't know if it's only on my game.

 

Flickering neons, red to green and green to red with the minimum movement:

Must be caused by this.

Try to move the gta-vc.dat lines that references neons ipls to the very end of the dat (i.e. after mansion.IPL if stock).

Thanks LINK/2012 works flawless, now the tarbrush cafe doesn't spawn anymore inside of that building. :)

Now I only have the ghost windows on the sky bug, curiously only happens on my desktop PC, in my laptop doesn't happen. :lol:

I can't do it

can i add it into my gta3.img?

what thing i need to change when do it?

Use Mo.... oh....

Anyway nope, no gta3.img, you basically just need to paste data dir from the zip into your game dir and add a few lines to gta_vc.dat, the readme explains everything fairly well.

Address: 0048A3B1 error C0000005 :/ i think i didn't get smthing in installation i have mvl .99b

i tryed to increase limit even in mvl and again Address: 004081C4 error C0000005 :S
i really fall in love with tthis mod

I also have the same error at adress 004a3B1 when installing this mod, even on a clean game.

 

I add the data file in the root directory, so the neons folder shows up between all the other map files.

 

Then I added the required lines to the gta_vc.dat file, the link below shows the file with the added lines.

I also installed the latest Open Limit Adjuster.

 

But as mentioned I get an unhandled exception while the game is loading my saved game or new game, this was tested on a unmodded Vice City.
