So Rockstar reveals 10 new pics of GTAV last week and this week they are showing the Box Art. Is this the start of the marketing campaign for GTAV or do you think they will go silent again?

We have like 5 months left till Grand Theft Auto V comes out right? Yes the marketing campagin has just started I guess.

Doesn't 5 months until the game launches seem a little early though?

It's usually their schedule for their marketing campaign, take RDR for example

-2 gameplay videos of multiplayer features

-video decepting the story, the revolution, characters

-launch trailer

 

all of this in less than a monthly basis, so right now is the right time for the floodgates of info open once and for all

 

i really hope we have gameplay series with GTA V, nothing gets me more hyped than rockstar's marketing

The bloke who voice-overs those gameplay videos sells it to me each and every time.

Idiot. This was a brilliant idea. They're generating hype and news all over Facebook, forums, etc, for free. Their game is being promoted in an unfinished piece of work for absolutely no further payments.

 

They have gotten us fans to promote for them. It was a genius idea.

 

Also, retarded f*ck, it will be a mainstream release. You think that this is the final piece of advertising they will do between now and September? You dumbass motherf*cker.

Anyway, if that's the actual boxart then I'm disappointed. It consists basically of artworks we already know and apart from that I don't think it looks amazing or anything. But I'm not that much into boxarts, artworks and that kind of stuff...I'm more the screenshot-trailer-kind-of-guy....

They always made their box art with released artworks ...

Funny how Rockstar release 10 good quality screens, and that topic only has 42 pages.

 

But this, a quarter finished painting of the box art on some wall, has 74 pages

It seems that the majority of people here are rather looking forward to the reveal of the box art than new screenshots which is understandable considering that this is what Rockstar planned to do in late January - you know what happened then.

I have every GTA 5 picture so far on my phone and I've had the 9F pic since November.

The only new one is the blue chopper. The 9F is already released (from GI ?), the Jet Ski is from the first trailer.
