You know, with a lot of people with a lot of talent and time could possibly get together and do something like that. Mixing up some old artworks, sometimes with new backgrounds, and some new, made-up artworks to avoid being clearly fake, and projecting to get it done in time for April Fool's... I actually find this disturbingly plausible.

That part hasn't been painted yet, either. They would have sketched it by this point, but should it really look like that yet? I think we should be exploring the idea of a clever April Fool's prank more seriously.

Well it has to dry, so covering it up would be counter-intuitive. Also, the GTA IV cover was done in a controlled environment and had something recording as a time-lapse. I'm not certain if this is a time-lapse as well, assuming it is real. But even if it was a time-lapse, tons of people were requesting that anyways, so I wouldn't hold it against them for doing it again.

I'm thinking it's real, but the timing is really odd, and a group of clever trolls would be more than capable of doing something like this. This would be pretty easy to dispel, though: if these pictures were to come from more than one source, and they might have already, I'm not sure as I've not read every single page on here. So this could be a for sure thing and I just don't know it.

 

However, given the information that I currently possess, I'd rather embrace some healthy skepticism and be proven wrong than to have blind faith and be severely disappointed.
