At least I had something decent to say about Hitman and the Assassin Creed series even though those weren't exactly my favorite games. With Bioshock it's pretty and that's it. I look forward to the story of games all the time but I'm really struggling to see what's the big deal about it. Great story keeps being thrown around and fantastic plot twists but to me it's boring. And yes I've listened to all the audio files and watched all the short clips. It doesn't make the game that much more amazing.

GTA is a lot more subtle with it's narrative, Infinite is my favourite game of the year with a fantastic twist, but if GTA V lives up to my expectations it will blow Infinite out of the water in many areas, most of all gameplay which is probably the most important for me.

I appreciate that, but there is a difference between only liking GTA and blindly dismissing all other games, and as you said 'roaming in "I played the game, nothing special"'. One is being a GTA fanboy, the other is not liking a particular game but not shooting down the opinions of people who do like it.

 

GTA IV was probably the most over-rated game of 2008, even though I like it. And I only visit the GTA V section, that's why I registered on the website.
