BullworthAcademy
It's basically Twin Peaks: The Game. It reminds me of when Silent Hill was amazing. One of the weirdest and best games ever. WARNING - TRAILER CONTAINS MILD SPOILERS Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut focuses on the story of FBI special agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates the murder of a young woman in the town of Greenvale. In this small town, players have to solve a murder mystery and survive against the killer and supernatural creatures that have taken residence. Along with the original story and gameplay, there are some new features, including HD graphics, an updated control system, a brand new scenario from the game's director, Hidetaka Swery Suehiro, and DLC to keep the mystery going once you complete the main campaign. RARusk
Technically the game is already available on the PS3 - but only as an import and under the name "Red Seeds Profile". Even though I do not have a PS3 at this time it is awesome that PS3 owners in the US will finally get to play one of the, if not the, best cult games ever released. I hope they release the Director's Cut on the X360 at some point in the future. If not then I will get the PS3 version to make sure that I have it in my possession when I finally get around to getting a PS3. If you are a fan of David Lynch and "Twin Peaks" you MUST get this game. You will not be disappointed. The intro that was just posted clearly demonstrates this influence. I wrote a guide for this game for GameFAQs a couple of years back (even won a FAQ of the Month award for it too) and would love to go back and revise it with new information from this new version. "One day I will think of this as just another job. After all, this is what I do."
Colonel_Buttfuck
I've been interested in this game for a while now, open world and all. I've read it's "horror-comedy". Does this mean it's more funny than scary, because I want to get scared!
Absurdity
Played it a while back on the 360 and instantly adored. Not just good writing in video 'gamey' terms but good writing by any measure. One of the most adult titles around and not because of its dealings in any particular subject matter, but because of its maturity in its delivery overall. Odd as f*ck, abstract, some frustrating as balls gameplay, compelling and atmospheric - an awesome mess.
AceRay
I've been interested in this game for a while now, open world and all. I've read it's "horror-comedy". Does this mean it's more funny than scary, because I want to get scared! I really want to play this as well, saw one of Trade Me (NZ version of Ebay) a few months back and. From what I can tell, its a reversal of the old "haunted town premise," where instead of a normal guy going to a bizarre and mysterious town, Its all about Francis York Morgan freaking the sh*t out of a normal town. Seriously, check out the following riffs of the opening, it looks awesome: Part 1 Part
JOSEPH X
Always been meaning to get this. You can pick it up in game shops that have it for the lowest price. I'll pick it up next time. It got buried under a load of bad reviews when it came out, but people started coming round Metascore 68 - User score 85 IGN 20 - Destructoid 100 I don't think there's another game that polarises opinion as much as Deadly Premonition, and for that alone it's worth picking up. BullworthAcademy
Any 360 release? If it like or better than Alan Wake I'm game. This is the Directors Cut version, only on PS3. The original game is on Xbox 360. Directors Cut has a huge difference though.

AndyGanteks
This is kind of weird and crazy, i like games with mysterious plots. Even though the graphics suck majorly.
Fireman
For a game that has an acclaimed "cult status" I've never heard about it before (or played it). Might have to get the original and try it out.
