gta076 Posted March 23, 2013 Share Posted March 23, 2013 I dunno why, but for some reason, my hype for the game has slowly been returning over the last few days. Even before the delay, my hype began to decrease. Then when the delay hit, it was pretty much gone. I used to visit the forums multiple times a day, then after the delay it was maybe once or twice a week. But lately I've found myself visiting the forums more often, and it seems as if more and more great and interesting topics have started to pop up again. So what do you think? There's only a few of us who knew that GTAV was gonna be right good from the very begining.. you can tell them by the ones who've been here the whole time. To cope with it, I just bought San Andreas on the Xbox live arcade and I'm planning to replay the whole thing. Then I'm gonna replay all of IV. The first couple of days after I was in shock thinking it was some sick joke, but I wasn't too disappointed because I understood what R* was doing. That being said I have been coming back to the forums with the shows and conventions going on hoping for some new news, and wondering how long R* can maintain its silence. goh13 Posted March 23, 2013 Share Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) I have my hype going through the roof............for BF4 that is. I have forgotten about GTA V for while and I could not be happier. GTA V is far better then BF4 but, I need more info. Like a date we can look up to that is not half a year away. Say 15th of June we will get some kind of video from R*. I will happily build my hype around that date and when it is over, the game will be released in no time. If things keep going this way, I will keep GTA V low on my list of " I wants " for now. cheetah_7 Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 My excitement/hype for the game decreased massively when the delay was announced, just because it was such a big delay too. No game, not even a game as good as GTA, should be released 2 years after its first trailer. And I'm not entirely sure why, but the increased talk/announcement of the PS4 and next gen consoles has decreased my excitement for the game slightly, because I feel its going to be released too late! With the PS4 being released a couple of months after, its going to feel instantly dated, and its no longer going to feel like the best game on the market (like a GTA normally unquestionably would!).
