Fuel isn't fun. If you have it so you never had to fuel your car then what's the point? But if you have it so you have to fuel all the time then it just pushes people off the game.

Mr. Madness

Personally feel like it's not the realism that has got to be worked on, but the different possible scenarios in the game.

With free roam in the story mode, every cop would try the same thing. You get bored easily this way.

No.

Yes, you telling me taking a sh*t and eating is going to be fun doing in a video game everytime you play it.

It's GTA. We want as much realism as we can get without going overboard. You wanna be able to do crazy things in a realistic manner.

Stupendous idiocy.

Seriously though, I never said that.

I mean what if you're in the middle of the desert and you run out of gas, while getting chased by cops?

thoughts?

Personally I think that'd be awesome. It'd make you plan ahead and fill up before committing a crime etc.

Yes. I don't want another boringly realistic GTA game; bring back the insanity that made the series fun. I want chainsaws, miniguns, and tanks, not writing emails to your mom or hanging out with your cousin.

I voted on depends, I didnt like the over the top unrealistic tone of Saints row but I like the serious realistic tone of GTA IV alot, aslong as there is balance between realism an unrealistic aspects then i wouldnt mind, TBOGT is a good example, it had both the realistic aspects of GTA IV and the over the top mission structure of San Andreas

Like most people have said, it depends. I was always against limiting the amount of weapons you can carry, but I thought RDR was way too much, and now I'm hoping for a system very similar to MP3. I also want the driving to be as realistic as possible. Realistic gore would be a good fit as well IMO.

I'm not a fan of maintenance based realism though. Maintaining weight, fuel, and speed(traffic laws) just wouldn't be fun IMO. Oddly enough, I would like to see jail time and permanent death as a mode if done right.

We're looking for both realism and Fun, Euphoria's Realistic physic is Fun enough for me, but... Realism like jailtime.... well it's depends on people smile.gif

I don't like the way you worded it. Is TOO much realism a bad thing? Yes. Because too much of anything is bad. Anyway, I hated Mafia 2's "realism" and how bland it made things, so I'm all for not overly realistic. I think Sleeping Dogs was a great game in that respect.

It can be terrible. But that's only of they start to make very thing just like I real life.

There is a balance. I think V will have a pretty good balance from the sounds of it so far.

Yes. You've answered your own question. The whole notion of 'too much' is just that; there's so much its bad. i.e Too much.

The thing is where do you draw the line at what is too much? It's different for everybody. For me, it's when the game just becomes a bore to play. If it's just not fun to play then I'm not going to play it. Simple as.
