On topic: Irregular jobs as in non-violent side missions may work, such as the taxi missions, however I for one don't want to be worrying about my boss on GTA and then getting handed a P45 when I'm late because I was out the night before robbing a bank. The general consensus is that a normal, work-a-day 9-5 job is something that should be restricted to reality, as GTA is an escpae from reality this would be a horrible idea.
