DeleteThisAccountPlz
So HERE is what happens: (Keep in mind I have NOTHING for it. It was installed about 1-2 years ago, then I deleted everything) -I insert the disc -It spins, and the autoplay comes up -I click on RUN AUTORUN.exe -It says: "Welcome to GTA4 install process...." -Near the bottom it gives me the option to either LAUNCH SOCIAL CLUB or EXIT. Neither do anything Help please, I need to make a video using GTA 4 video editor! Thanks for your help (Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum section)
Shiva.
Umm, by deleting, did you mean deleting the GTA IV directory manually from the drive or uninstalling it through control panel/un-installer? If it's the former then, go to Add or Remove Programs and see if you can see GTA IV/Social Club listed among the other programs. If they are listed, then unistall them from there. As for the latter, I'm not sure about it. Did you mean both the options are disabled? Edited March 22, 2013 by shiva s

Shiva.
Strange. That "nothing happens" usually happens if GTA IV is still residing in your PC. Anyway, try using this tool which detects and uninstalls GTA IV.
DeleteThisAccountPlz
So now, what I get is Launch Social Club and Exit.... everything is uninstalled though, and it won't give me the option to install
Shiva.
Copy all the contents of the disc into your hard drive. Right click on setup.exe, set the compatibilty mode to XP SP3 and try installing it manually from there.
DeleteThisAccountPlz
It copied only 7GB and I can't set the compatibility
Shiva.
Try the GFWL update and see if it launches Social Club: http://rockstargames.com/support/IV/PC/GFWLupdate/ Or try installing it manually by opening setup.exe from the game disc.
